Hello, We are Cido and Rob, the owners of two beautifully furnished apartments with heart-stirring view over the historic Prinsengracht, one of the most lively canals in the heart of Amsterdam. Since 2011, we have been welcoming guests from all over the world. They all fall in love with the place and the amazing city of Amsterdam. Many of them return; there is so much to discover here. We live in the same building and we provide 24-hours assistance to make you feel like home. We love sharing insider addresses and some of Amsterdam’s best hidden gems. Location:
We are in the heart of Amsterdam, in the residential and smart shopping area called Jordaan. Jordaan is the most popular and historic part of Amsterdam, with small cafes, bars, restaurants, boutiques, organic food and antique markets. The apartments have a spectacular view to the 17th-century Noorderkerk (North church) and many houseboats. Sunsets are breathtaking.

Dam square, the 17th-century Royal Palace and Madame Tussauds, the world famous wax works museum - 8 min

Our apartment
We have two 1 bedroom (2 rooms) apartment in an historical building ( built 1707). The flat are on the third floor. The rooms are handsomely decorated with antique and vintage furniture, with some modern and industrial touches. The living room is very bright, with two big windows overlooking the canal. Imagine sitting by the windows on a sunny afternoon, with a glass of wine, watching the passing parade of people, boats and bike (hardly any cars!). The street is not so crowded and noisy, as central Amsterdam might be, but with plenty of life.
The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a big closet. It is quiet and spacious, just perfect to enjoy a good night’s sleep.
The apartment comes with a fully equipped open concept kitchen: fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee and tea maker, dining wares,
We offer complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, coffee, tea, and welcoming wine.
The laundry room is located in the common area, on the main floor of the building. There is a washer and a dryer, both coin operated. The cost is E1.50 for each washer and dryer.

Summary: Our stay in this lovely apartment overlooking the Prinsengracht canal was part of what made our visit to Amsterdam so wonderful. The apartment is on a quiet street and just a short walk away from public transportation, so it was easy to reach the museums and neighborhoods we wanted to visit. There are many good restaurants close by as well as several markets for food shopping. Everything was as described in the listing -- the apartment is airy and comfortable. Cido was very responsive to our questions both before and during our stay. Great place to stay!

Summary: Excellent apartment and location. The property manager got confused about dates several times and also double-booked our first 2 days stay in Amsterdam. Thus we had to book a hotel for the first 2 days. Lastly, the manager got confused about emails from which she determined we wanted to check out 2 days early. We never understood why she concluded that and we had to assure her that our plans had not changed. It was odd to say the least.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment is a gem, charming and bright, and the location is AMAZING. We sat in the living room and gaped at the beautiful view right over the canal. It was well stocked with kitchen basics had guidebooks and maps. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and even let us check in a bit early since the apartment was ready. If it hadn’t been ready, they had offered to let us store luggage in the luggage room downstairs. (This was a huge plus, because a big problem with staying at a home-away-from-home rental is that all flights from the US to Europe land in the morning and then you’re often stuck dragging heavy luggage and nowhere to go for hours.) I traveled with my husband and teen son and he slept on the sofa bed, which he said was quite comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

Summary: My family and I stayed at Cido’s apartment for a few days during a visit to Amsterdam. It was the perfect location. Close to shops and restaurant and just a few minutes from Anne Frank house. Cido was so helpful, always responsive. She was so kind to get us an extra air mattress, which allowed my teen sons to sleep in their own bed which they really appreciated! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I came to Amsterdam.

Summary: My wife, daughter, and I really enjoyed our stay here. The view of the canal outside our front window was stunning. We were close to lots of great places to walk, eat, and drink and the Jordaan neighborhood is stunning. Cido was very helpful in addressing all our needs and even arranged a taxi to the airport.

Summary: What an incredible 2 weeks! We stayed at this property the entire time. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is minutes away from Central Station, bike rentals, museums and so much more. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to relax and enjoy all Amsterdam has to offer. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending places to go. 5 stars from the Robinson’s!

Summary: We had a great time during our stay here. The standout features of this incredible apartment are: 1) location right in the middle of the beautiful (and quiet) Jordaan neighborhood within walking distance of most everything, 2) great view onto the canal and street while relaxing and drinking coffee, 3) highest standards of cleanliness and also charm of the furnishings (bed was very comfortable and got a thumbs up from my picky spouse), and 4) last, but not least, was the kindness and helpfulness of Cido, the host. She helped us figure out transportation to/from airport, and her friendliness and flexibility enhanced our stay. Other reviewers have noted the stairs as a consideration if you have mobility issues, but we had no problem with them. We highly recommend this property and hope to repeat our visit again in the future. Thanks, Cido!!

Summary: Charming, characteristic apartment with typically huge windows looking out over the townscape. What's particularly nice is that, instead of "just" looking at houses across the canal, you see the Westerstraat coming in at an angle across the canal and joining two streets - so you're treated to the bicycle show at all hours. Completely mesmerizing.
