Positive: The host was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice view with the ocean and large outdoor patio to use. The host was on site to help with any needs. There is a kitchenette
Negative: Beware huge flight of stairs to get to the apartment and many huge flights of stairs to get from town up the hill to get there. Unless you are staying in old town everything is uphill. We managed but not everyone could. The room was nice but small.

Positive: It is a beautiful apartment. Very clean and well located. About 10 / 15 mins walk to the old town. Ana the owner is very communicative and helpful with advise and the view from the apartment over the old city is spectacular.
Negative: The only down side was the amount of steps to climb going back to the apartment from the old town, but we knew about this before booking. It's ok going down as it's all down hill. Wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a disability or breathing problems
Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Dubrovnik is very expensive.

Positive: Lots of positives. Very friendly hosts, they even helped us with the luggage up the steps. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of towels and toilet paper and one of the best equipped kitchens we have found in holiday accommodation. Large fridge-freezer, lots of pots and pans etc. No toaster but a sandwich maker, you can toast bread in it. Tea, coffee, salt, pepper and cooking oil also supplied. Also welcome sweets and a bowl full of oranges. The supermarket down the road was very handy and has a bit of everything. The internet worked very well. If coming by car, keep in mind that finding a parking space will probably be tricky (we had no problems in January). The apartment has a great view, but of the water and the island, not of the old town as one of the photos suggests, so if this is important to you keep this in mind. The owners have placed a small table for your use which has old town views, but we felt we were encroaching into other guests' space, so didn't use it.
Negative: The sofa is very hard and not comfortable to sit on for long periods of time like watching a movie. The mattresses in both bedrooms could also do with being replaced - one is very soft and sags, and on the other one you can feel the metal springs. There is no heating/cooling in one of the rooms - not a big issue in the winter as there were enough warm covers for the bed, but it might get hot in the summer. Although you can walk into the old town following the road, there are a few steps to get to the property from the street (picture attached), so people with mobility issues could find this problematic. For the rest of us, it's a good workout! Finally, whilst the place was very quiet day and night, the people upstairs were dragging furniture from 7 in the morning and it is quite loud in the bedrooms, so difficult to stay in bed until late.
