Cardigan Cottage is in a prime location situated by the shores of Lake Wendouree in Ballarat City. It's perfect location is within a short walking distance to cafe's, restaurants, Ballarat Fine Art Gallery, Her Majesty's Theatre, Regent Cinemas, Hospitals and the City Circle free transport. This means you can leave your car and walk. It's also only between two to four kilometres to Sovereign Hill, Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka (MADE), the Ballarat Wildlife Park, as well as beautiful Lake Wendouree and the Botanical Gardens.

Summary: Nice little cottage and well heated for such a cold place. But what let it down was the couch in the lounge room and also bits and pieces of cutlery. None of the glassware matched and there were no red wine glasses. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Summary: A nice little cottage that has been recently renovated. Comfortable bed and big lounge that fit the family. Lovely big bathroom. Easy check in with code. Lovely location. Coffee pod machine. Undercover parking. Outdoor table and bbq. There were some points that I was surprised to see from a Stayz property. Some food left in the fridge from previous occupants. No tissues provided. Some of the plates were still wet and dirty in the drawer. A few spots needing a good clean...cupboard door, laundry basket, drawers, kitchen blinds, fridge, etc. Not easy to locate items like washing machine and dishwasher powders.
