Positive: The property has so much charm, you can see a lot of work has gone into the initial renovation. Key code was straight forward, parking was good. Clean bathrooms.

Negative: Well where do I start , this property has so much charm but is extremely let down by the execution of interiors and function. Arriving for my father’s 60th, our stay was adequate to say the least. First of all the cleanliness wasn’t tip top, sofas looked like they’d been sat on, one sofa had a huge rip in the cushion, dirty under floor surfaces, crumbs on sofa bed and dining chairs. Place matts were filthy, under the sink has a big stain, chipped plates to serve food on, dirty cutlery in the draw, wires hanging everywhere under tv. All such a shame. As our stay continued, with 6 people occupying this property it was a disaster when we tried to sleep, one of the beds was completely broken all the springs were gone, we are not ones to usually make a fuss but this was ridiculous and ruined the stay. Luckily one of had a camper van and slept in there. Next the hot water for the shower was an issue, and the heating wouldn’t work so our wet clothes couldn’t dry. Fire place was a little strange too, the fact it’s not a real one and requires ethanol but there are logs under is a bit misleading and could cause an accident? No door mat either, not ideal in rainy Wales. Sad because this place has so much potential. I definitely would not stay again.

Negative: It’s no good having accommodation for up to 6 people when just after 1 shower the hot water has run out. Also would be good to know where the outside light switch is for the hot tub, nearly broke our necks.

Negative: The property was clean, but there were a few minor things that could've been better. The floors were a little dirty and the bath upstairs was clean but had hair in the plug. Its minor though.

Positive: It’s a lovely little cottage, 6 adults and 2 small dogs fit very comfortably in there. It was lovely sitting outside with the view and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. The balcony gets lovely sunshine during the afternoon so we sat there most evenings.

Negative: There was an issue with flies and the outside bin was already full when we arrived and so was overflowing when we added our own rubbish to it, which added to the amount of flies especially in the kitchen. There was also a couple of bits of rubbish left and a dead bird in a plant pot located outside the kitchen door.

Summary: It was a well needed, lovely break away and we all thougroughly enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Very well equipped, well located, nice and quiet property. The hot tub is great with some nice views across the terrace. The instructions to get to the property are accurate if you know where you are going, we would recommend the hosts add WhatThreeWords or a more accurate pin to the location.

Negative: The mattress on the bed in the main bedroom could be more comfortable. There was no oil for the fire at the property so we were not able to use it.
