The apartment 'Captains Lodge' is almost 55m2 (1 1/2 rooms) and lies on the Weser side in a tower of the s. G. 'Columbus Center'. It was completely renovated and refurbished in summer 2010.
The 'Captains Lodge' is ideal for 2 people, sleeping spaces for up to 6 people are available on request (double bed in the bedroom, 2 sofa beds in the living room; both rooms can be connected / separated by a large sliding door),

Summary: The shower is not save enough for an elderly person who is used to shower every day. A couple of safety handles and a shower curtain would be big improvement. The bed was very comfortable. The bedroom radio was not working, because the electric cable was missing. All together I enjoyed my stay and I would go back again.

Summary: We enjoyed the apartment immesnsely. It is well arranged with everything a couple could need. The location was very convenient to restaurants, the harbor and sights - the photo is completely accurate as seen from our balcony. We would definitely rent the apartment again.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Captain's Lodge very much. My husband, two teenage daughters, and I stayed at Captain's Lodge for two nights during a family visit. We are familiar with the building as a family member has lived in the building for many years. Captain's Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The pictures do not do it justice. It has a breathtaking view, and it is a beautifully decorated apartment. Our family stayed at several different apartments during our European tour, and this is the only one where my daughter liked the bathroom. The apartment is centrally located in Bremerhaven. On the ground floor of the apartment building is a shopping mall with a grocery store. Across the street is the luxury Mediteranno Shopping. There are several close restaurants, including the lovely StrandTellar, a wonderful fish restaurant that has been part of the city for decades. The cities museum highlights are all with in walking distance. The apartment has everything a travelling family could need: a complete kitchen, washing machine, ironing board, games, and blow dryer. We will request this apartment every time we come to Bremerhaven. My mother, who was born in Bremerhaven and visits each summer, is planning to reserve this apartment as well. Thank you for making this beautiful apartment available!

Summary: We arrived in Obere Bürger, but the entrance of the parking is in the Columbusstrasse. From there you take the elevator right to Captains Lodge. When you leave the elavator in second stock you enter a hugh shopping center, where we had breakfast the first morning. We loved the apartment (fantastic shower!) with a great view over the harbour. We visited the maritime museum, which was very nice! We visited the Christmas Faire and had a lovely time! We loved Bremerhaven and Captains Lodge and highly recommend it!
