Gorgeous, newly remodeled Contemporary Big Sur-Style Guest House with private Hot Tub, 2 decks, gas fire table and chat set. It feels both open and private with a bank of windows from end to end that open up to views of Carmel Valley, Carmel River Beach and Point Lobos. After gently descending 22 well-lit and landscaped redwood stairs to the lower level, you will enter a beautiful, private landscaped yard with views overlooking a canopy of trees with virtually no direct view of other houses! This 930 sf ground floor Guest House has a large living room, large Master Bedroom that includes an office area with a copier/printer, a Master Closet with full-sized Washer/Dryer, and views of Point Lobos. You may never leave the bed! There is a Main House above it. Additional sound-proofing has been added both to the ceiling as well as new flooring in the Main house with commercial insulation which was added in December 2022. This newly renovated home is fresh, clean and uncluttered with an updated Big Sur lodge influence and New Everything!
The Living Room has a Queen Sleeper/ Sofa and the Full-Sized Murphy Bed doubles as a writing table. Enjoy an adult beverage while whipping up a snack or meal from the Kitchenette with 2 large capacity Microwave/ Convection Oven and Convection Oven/ Air-Fryer with 2-burner Hot Plates with Granite Island seating. The large private yard (1500 sf) has 2 outdoor decks and is fully fenced and landscaped with garden lighting. The deck outside the master bedroom has views of Point Lobos from the new Hot Tub! The second deck has a romantic gas Fire-Table Chat Set to stay warm while counting the stars. Well behaved dogs are welcome as the yard is fully fenced and the wood floors are easy to keep clean.

Property is right off Hwy 1 and an easy 1 mile from the quintessential Village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. It does require a car to get to town, as the trail to the adjacent street has been cut-off. The Guest House is on the ground-level of the property. It shares a ceiling with the Main House occupying the 1st and 2nd floors above it. It has it's own stairway and entry and is entirely SEPARATE though conversations are audible if both parties from the Main House and Guest House are out on the deck together. There is lots of light from windows with a big indoor/ outdoor open feel. Crestview is perfect for a family or romantic Vacation or remote Work/ Study Retreat. New to VRBO in 2021!
