Positive: The property was beautiful, surrounded by a lovely garden, pond, pool, and fruit trees. The rooms were very spacious and each room had an ensuite.

Negative: This property is located near a church, so the church bells ring every 15 minutes and on the hour. If you’re a light sleeper then this might be a problem.

Summary: Our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful garden and pool.

Positive: Our family of 11 people, including children and elderly less-able people, had an amazing time in this property which is located 1h from Porto. The large bedrooms all with modern private bathrooms are very well decorated including refurbished antique elements. Two are family rooms. Comfortable beds. Great common indoor spaces including a well-equiped kitchen. Modern TVs in all rooms including many channels. Smart TV in common living room, used it for karaoke. The garden is beautiful and well-kept, the swimming pool has a good size, and there are plenty of sunbeds. The swing on the tree was a delight for children and grown-ups. The outdoor kitchen has a bbq and a large table for family meals. The location is in a quiet countryside area that is easily reached from the highway, and there's a train station 20min walking distance that has connections to major cities. Restaurants available within walking distance open also in the weekend. We just wished we could have stayed all week! The hosts were very helpful and promptly replied to questions.
