Summary: Our stay in this apartment great. Very clean and functional house. Plenty and secure parking. Wifi adequate. Kitchen nicely equipped. Owner/property manager very friendly and helpful, greeted us on first day in person which is very important to a guest. I can definitely recommend this getaway. Good location away from chaos and easily accessible to all locations. I would definitely go back and stay.

Summary: We were ready for a nice quiet place, which this was. The beach close to this property was not great, but there were many lovely beaches with an 45 minute drive. The Homeaway website communication was with the property manager, so check in process got a little confused, as we didn’t have the name of the owner when we tried phoning from the gas station, as directed. As well, none of the texts I tried sending the owner got responses. But it all worked out in the end and Toni, the owner, found us at the gas station and got us checked in. The fresh melon and nectarines were a nice treat as well.

Summary: We as a party of four have travelled Italy extensively and this Villa is the best equipped we have rented, to date. It is very spacious, well maintained and clean. The added bonus is that the owner Toni is very hospitable and lives virtually next door. It is an ideal location to visit the South West area of Sicily and there are beautiful marinas and beaches up and down the coastline, which are a nice change, when you've had a full day at the more famous tourist attractions such as Agrigento, Selinunte etc. There are supermarkets, bars and restaurants all within 5 mins drive. And one supermarket within a 10 min walk. All in all a wonderful holiday in a villa i would highly recommend.

Summary: Upon arrival in Ribera, we were greeted by Tony, the owner, at a prearranged meeting point. This initial contact was friendly and reassuring, just what was needed after several hours of travel. Tony led us back to the Villa, which is located on the southern edge of the town. We were welcomed into the property by Tony’s wife, Antonella and the couple then showed us around the property and its many features. The villa is extremely spacious and comfortable and accommodated our party of seven with ease. It is decorated with a tasteful mix of contemporary and traditional Sicilian styles. It is a beautiful family home with a lovely homely feel. The accommodation is very well equipped and we were left wanting for nothing. The outside terrace is as attractive as the interior and is a wonderful place to have breakfast or to chill in the evening. Tony & Antonella had very kindly provided some basic groceries, which included fresh melon & home made olive oil. Where else would you get that?! I have to say that we could not have wanted for a better welcome and we immediately felt at home. The owners live on the same plot, in the neighbouring property (separate from the villa). In my opinion this is an ideal arrangement. Their presence was never intrusive and our privacy was respected at all times. We had no issues during our stay but it was still nice to know that help was never too far away. There was plenty of space to park our two cars directly outside the villa and the fact that the whole property (including the parking area) is protected by the entry gate and fences means that there is a real sense of security. The villa benefits from aircon to the master bedroom. Leaving the bedroom door open does lower the temperature of the entire property to some degree. Given the excellent security of the property, we were happy to leave bedroom windows open at night to benefit from the cooling breeze. There are fly screens on all windows so no concerns about the dreaded mosquitos! So in summary, this is a beautiful property, owned by a delightful family who offered us a very warm welcome and every possible assistance. I would recommend it without hesitation! In my opinion it represents excellent value for money, especially when you consider the number of people it can accommodate (in comfort). The location is perfect for beach access and the main coastal road is just a couple of minutes away. Thank you to Tony, Antonella & Vincenzo for a wonderful stay!

Summary: We chose this property for its proximity to the Verdura Golf resort, and to the holiday facilities and attractions between Sciacca and Agrigento. We stayed there for 7 days in July 2015 with our three kids (15, 14 and 6). The apartment could easily sleep another family of 4 to 5 if you are looking for an even better financial deal (check with the owners though). There is another apartment on the floor above, which was not rented at that time, but with its own entrance and separated terrace. The pictures are a true representation of the flat. It is recently renovated, clean, well equipped and above all, the owners and children are further along the estate, providing you with a very warm and helpful Sicilian hospitality. You can rent the linen ready and set upon arrival and pay an extra €60 for cleaning, well worth it. There are various supermarket options in Ribera 5mn by car from the house, but go try the independent vegetable shop, fishmonger, butcher etc... it’s part of the experience, at a price unheard of in the UK. We were to call the owner upon arrival in the centre of Ribera, and owner Toni and son Vincenzo arrived promptly after 5 minutes to show us the way to the house. Toni understands English and Vincenzo speaks English very well. He is also a mighty musician who is going to be attending the London School of Music in October. We were very pleasantly surprised with the apartment, with well appointed rooms and very clean bathrooms all in good working order. There is an Air Conditioning unit in the master bedroom, and despite the scorching temperatures, with the shutters closed and the AC on 23 degrees it was enough to keep a cool house when we returned in the evening. The wifi is provided complimentary and provides enough basic broadband for your surfing needs. It was rapidly fixed by Vincenzo when it once went down. The outside terrace is where we spent the majority of the time when in the house. It is very quiet with the exception of a little traffic noise in the morning (no heard inside the house). The stone built wood based BBQ/ pizza oven works very well..I used it 5 times, not for pizza though. Coal was kindly provided. Further to the great value offered, we felt really welcomed by Toni and his family. Fresh fruits, tea and coffee making facility, lots of bottled water and soft drinks were waiting for us upon arrival. When I need extra coal for the
