Positive: So, we didn't actually get to stay here as the apartment we rented had an electrical problem. We had rented a 3 bedroom apartment, and were offered 2 apartments (1 bedroom apartment & 2 bedroom apartment). As were were traveling with children (12 & under) this arrangement didn't work for us. We could have taken the 2 bedroom but had paid for a 3 bedroom & there was no reduction in price. The second option was to stay at a sister property (Manili Villa & Suites in town) that had 4 bedrooms, so we chose this option. The apartment was fine (it even had a private hot tub & private pool) but it lacked 2 key elements that the original apartment had: laundry facilities & a functional kitchen (tiny kitchen area, not well eqipped, no space for pantry). The staff were very appologetic, and were helpful & made sure our stay was pleasant. The buffet breakfast was amazing!

Negative: We would have loved to stay at the Hillside Retreat. The views were gorgeous.

Negative: Booked knowing room had loft bedroom layout….going up and down loft steps was not comfortable…..signage providing directions should be communicated with confirmation.

Positive: The house we got was beautiful and comfortable, very quiet and it had all the things we needed for our stay.

Negative: There was no hot water in the first day, it was very inconvenient, but it was fixed on the day after and it was ok for the rest of our stay.

Positive: Eliathos Residence is in a beautiful location, on the edge of the lovely village of Archanes. The gardens are immaculate, the accommodation looks like 4 houses but each is cleverly split into 3 units. Everything is immaculately clean. The staff are friendly, extremely accommodating and helpful. The pool is perfectly cool and has fabulous views over the olive groves and valley. We had a really special 2 weeks here and would definitely recommend it. We found a huge variety of beaches within a 20 mins - 1 hour drive, heading West and East along the coast. Historic sites, museums, tavernas and shops were also within easy reach.

Negative: Going home!

Summary: Highly recommend. Eliathos is a very special place.

Positive: Everything is amazing: villas have a great compartimentation with private terrace, green areas in between, landscape around it, pool area, etc. The staff was very helpfull, supportive and nice (even the car rental company they recomended was also good).

Negative: The location is somehow remote from sea, but even so there are some advantages: cooler in the evening, can visit a lot of different beaches and places, local village center is full of restaurants and terraces with local people meeting in the evening.
