Summary: Great stay! The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a family. Teenagers enjoyed the space and game room. Close to town so you can walk to get coffee in the morning and dinner at night.

Summary: The his place is top notch! They have so much information on local places to see an do things. The home is so inviting and wonderful. The game area is a must for having a good friendly competition. The hot tub is wonderful a very clean. They even set the firepit up so we just had to light it an have a little fire. An if you enjoy wildlife it’s perfect to watch the local elk stroll through a birds are everywhere.

Summary: This home was immaculate and met our needs. We received a nice welcome basket when we arrived full of treats. The directions for finding the home, codes, and instructions for all the home technology/hot tub/etc were easy to follow. The cabinets in the kitchen were well stocked for cooking and all were labeled. There were even special appliances like a pressure cooker, toaster and crock pot. The bedrooms were well decorated, comfortable, and had cool local points of interest as names above the doors. The theme of cozy cottage was done very well.Anyone in the area or seeking a lovely retreat should have this property at the top of their list!

Summary: Highly recommend, especially for multi-generational families. Walking distance to both Packwood and the Cowlitz river. Elk wandered through subdivision every morning! Really enjoyed the ping pong and shuffleboard tables, as well as the hot tub. Super clean and organized, with clear labeling of kitchen cabinets (a nice touch). Overall, a great experience!

Summary: We had a great family trip here. There were a lot of small details that made this stay above and beyond. From board games, to Lincoln logs, to welcome snacks, this was a noticeably more pleasant stay than many of our past rentals. Every bed was comfy, many of the switches/remotes etc had labels to make it easy to figure out, and every kitchen item was clean and seemed brand new. Owner was highly communicative and this place had plenty of outside space for the kids to run around, when we weren’t up in the mountains.

Summary: We stayed here for three nights with another family, and everything about our stay was fantastic. Excellent communication with the owner, a lovely little welcome basket with treats that the kids devoured, and the house itself was amazing. It's rare that a property is BETTER in person than what's shown online, but that's how this house felt. The pictures don't do it justice. Beds were comfy, kitchen was very well-stocked, and there were ample towels and dishes and everything we needed. (As silly as it sounds, I was thrilled to find so many hooks! There was never a shortage of places to hang our coats in the entry, or our towels in the bathroom.) Every little detail has been thought out and taken care of. Truly an exceptional property and we can't wait to return!
