Positive: The house is big, the garden is big, it has dinning room and living room, a big bathroom and a big toilets. the rooms are big, one first floor room can see Fuji mountain. the car parking area is big and convenient for us. the toilet is automatic.

Negative: it's quite cold overall (5-10°C in room while -1°C outside) in the house and the rooms even though we turned on air con. there's no electrical heater, or fan heater to help. there's a mat heater that helps a lot when we stayed in living room. the main tatami bedroom was a bit too cold and the air con is not working properly. there's no coffee machine, no dryer machine to dry clothes and no facilities to hang the clothes out. hangers and clips are provided, but no stands.

Positive: A very beautiful and traditional guesthouse, with a lovely garden and interior decoration, yet equipped with all kinds of modern facilities! The best guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan—the host had even turned on the air conditioning for us in advance. The location is a bit far, but there’s a train station about 800 meters away.

Positive: A good size house for a family of five. On a clear day, you can see Mt Fuji from the windows upstairs, but from an angle. The house was spacious, clean, and tidy. It has a nice garden and is located in a quiet area. It's close to a major road, but we did not hear the noise from it. Having a car might be helpful because of its location. The host was very responsive in communicating through Booking.

Negative: The temperature outside was quite cool (end of May), and this was reflected indoors. It did not bother us too much because we only stayed there for a night, and we managed to keep the bedrooms warm with the aircons. For longer stays, I'd inquire with the host about how to keep the house warm.
