Positive: The view from the room, the view around the property and the onsen.

Negative: The room does not have Aircon and it was super warm in the room with no ventilation. Windows can only be opened less than 2 inch wide. The massive dining hall with long queues for buffet during dinner. Same food every night. It’s ok if you are staying for 1 night. But if you stay for 2 nights it’s the same type if food.

Summary: Amazing view. I probably will book the Horizon wing instead of Ocean wing if I return again.

Positive: Ocean view was awesome! Lots of variety of food in the buffet. Tons to explore onsite.

Negative: I wish some of the amenities like game room (ping pong, billiards, arcade games) were included in the price. We didn’t end up enjoying much of the amenities since everything cost extra

Positive: Showa heaven- amazing retro vibes. The most incredible view from the onsen bath. Buffet extensive and tasty. Beautiful big room.

Negative: The beds were not comfortable. Only one pillow and not comfortable for us. The staff member on the desk persisted in speaking English to me when I was able to speak Japanese and she was cold, rude and unhelpful. Everyone else was lovely though.

Summary: Stunning showa-era stay - best onsen view ever.
