Nestled right on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan with our own private beach. Perfect house for family reunions. Just a short drive to the coastal towns of South Haven and Saugatuck. Access to wooded nature preserve in front of the house. There are lots of windows to let in all the natural light. The open layout is ideal for entertaining, and the spacious kitchen and dining room make it the perfect place to spend time as a family. This is the perfect vacation home for anyone looking to spend quality time as a family, and enjoy all that Lake Michigan has to offer! Sprawling yard perfect for gathering while taking in the gorgeous sunsets. Large deck and patio with grill area. Two bedrooms on the main level - 1 bedroom with queen bed and bunk bed and the other bedroom has a king bed. Full bath with jacuzzi on main level. Open concept living, dining and kitchen with a wall of windows to enjoy the views. Large dining room table seats 12 comfortably with sliding doors to deck. Living room with plenty of seating and flat screen TV. Kitchen has large island with seating for 6 and 2 sinks, coffee station, 2 dishwashers and 2 garbage disposals. Mini fridge for extra storage. Family room on first floor with plenty of seating, game table, TV and another wall of windows to enjoy the view of the yard and sunsets. Sliding doors to deck. Large deck with 2 tables and lounge chairs with steps to large brick patio which has a firepit and patio table, 2 grills and several chairs. Hammock and tire swing in the sprawling yard. Stairs to the private beach (50). Currently there is a large amount of beach which could change depending on the weather. Second floor includes loft area with lake view and master suite with king bed and large ensuite bathroom and walk in closet Spectacular lake views in the master bedroom. Another guest bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and bunk bed. Third bedroom upstairs has 2 queen beds, couch and bunk bed. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Bathroom in the upstairs hallway with shower. Plenty of board games, books, ladder toss game, bocce ball set, badminton, plastic bats and whiffle balls, corn hole boards and bags, baseball mitts and baseballs, DVD player and DVDs , satellite TV, internet, beach chairs. beach umbrellas. Full size washer and dryer on main floor in the mud room. Wrap around porch with rocking chairs out front.

Summary: Another wonderful stay at this lovely property. This is our third year gathering here and enjoying the house, outdoor space, beach and Lake Michigan, proximity to Saugatuck, Fennville, Holland, South Haven, etc. Lots of options for all ages. Home is very well appointed and comfortable, stocked with whatever you might need for a lake vacation with family and friends. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Summary: A wonderful combination of beach time and family fun in a beautiful,well provisioned home. The kitchen is large, very well equipped with an island that invites family time. Owner was very responsive to our needs for more bottled water.

Summary: Our family of nine adults and four kids found this large property perfect. It was clean, full of amenities, and provided lots of living space for us to spread out for activities. The property's beach is especially appealing. Nearby parks and natural areas are attractive, and South Haven, Douglas and Saugatuck are accessible within minutes.

Summary: Overall a great base location to take day trips to Holland, South Haven. The property was spacious and quiet. Big yard for lawn games. Lots of steps to the beach but we managed. Loved the huge kitchen and dining area. Kind of an odd floor plan with two bedrooms opening right off the kitchen. Only one bathroom on the ground floor serving both bedrooms and doubling as the powder room. In mid-August, the house was very much in need of a deep cleaning. The main areas were clean enough, but many of the cooking utensils were dirty, the fans were coated in grime, the trash bin beneath the plastic liner was filthy, the grill was disgusting. Some of the upholstery was stained. We had to scrub and clean many things before we used them. I’m sorry to say this because the place is really beautiful, but it really needed a good cleaning. There were also some safety hazards outside. The metal deck was old and in need of repair. There were some holes with very sharp edges, and it was not easy to see the edges of the metal steps. Several of us stumbled on the steps before we bought some painters tape to mark the steps, which helped. The handrails to the steps down to the beach were rough, I got a splinter the first time I went down. Again, sorry to say this because we did have a wonderful week in spite of these issues. I felt that for the cost, plus the hefty cleaning fee, things could have been cleaner and in better repair.

Summary: Everything we needed was there, including beach umbrellas and chairs. The house is beautiful and has a wonderful flow. Patios were spacious, the view spectacular. We definitely want to come back.

Summary: This is our second year staying in this lovely home. The owners have not only created a beautiful place to stay, they have also thought of every comfort one might need! I cannot say enough about the breathtaking location right on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. We saw some of the most amazing sunsets during our stay — and even did some sunset swimming! You also have just a short drive to other lovely Lake Michigan locales, including Saugatuck, Holland, South Haven. I cannot recommend this any more strongly. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Summary: We had a very pleasant, almost week long stay here in August. We got lucky with the weather while we were there, but unlucky with it prior to our arrival as storms had knocked out the power to thousands of homes in the area so we had to delay our arrival by a couple of days. The owners were very responsive and did everything they could to help with the situation and make things right, and I believe they are already planning on installing backup power in case this happens again in the future. The house was clean, spacious, and well equipped. We had fourteen people in our group ranging from 2 years old to 75 and the house never felt crowded and was comfortable for everyone. One of the people in our group has limited mobility so having beds and a bath on the main floor was important - they had no problems getting in or out of the house, onto the deck, or into the living rooms or kitchen. Our kids enjoyed the tire swing, the swing set, and of course the beach. The beach is directly behind the house and yard and about 40 steps down - this amount of steps down to the beach seems to be pretty common along most of the shore in this area. The beach was very nice at the time of our visit, with lots of sand. There are some rocks along the waterline so water shoes could be helpful, but our kids didn't seem to mind at all and it's sandy once you are in the water. The provided beach chairs and umbrellas made the beach very comfortable for the adults. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and had two sinks, two dishwashers, and two trash compactors making cooking for large meals, and cleaning up after, much easier. The deck has nice views of the lake and plenty of seating. We used the fire pit most nights. Overall we were very happy with the house, it was exactly as described, well maintained, and clean.

Summary: I can't say enough about how great this home is. The description is accurate -- but it is also so much more! The home is so well-appointed: the owners have included anything and everything you might need for your time on the Lake. Gaining access to the property was very smooth, and the owner was available to answer any and all questions (even offered to have someone stop by with an item!). We enjoyed the very large patio, our own access to the beach/lakefront, as well as the quick car ride to Saugatuck or South Haven. Kids loved the tire swing! I would recommend this property for any kind of family/friend gathering; it's amazing how many people this home can actually sleep! Everything was comfortable and convenient, and we are looking forward to visiting again next year.
