Negative: please provide a couple of plates and bowls( not disposibles). Black out drapes would make sleeping easier for me, it was very light.

Positive: A superb B&B! The accommodation was spotless, new and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower good. There was an excellent choice of provisions provided for breakfast. The location is rural and we enjoyed sitting out on the veranda watching the hummingbirds and elk. Connie was very welcoming and the perfect B&B hostess. If we are in the Lake Cowichan area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Maple Woods again.

Positive: I really enjoyed my stay at the B&B; for breakfast there were homemade cookies, homemade muffins, muesli and fresh fruit.I was able to observe wildlife deer from my room. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Since I was traveling by bicycle, they also offered to pick me up if I had any problems. Everything was new and spotlessly clean; I was completely satisfied and slept excellently.
