Summary: Exceeded all our expectations. Everyone had so much fun and loved the ranch, it was incredibly spacious, comfortable, so well decorated and well stocked. We loved how secluded we were, all the animals, the property, the fire pit and more… Pictures don’t do it justice! Thanks for hosting us! We hope to be back one day

Summary: We had the extraordinary opportunity to watch the solar eclipse from this property, and it exceeded all our expectations. The lodge itself is nothing short of amazing—uniquely and fantastically decorated and furnished, spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The property is huge, featuring a serene lake, frequent deer sightings, and excellent hiking trails. The views from the property are truly breathtaking, and the kitchen is well-stocked with every tool and appliance imaginable. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant and memorable—they even made us homemade banana bread! Highly recommended for a unique getaway that combines luxury with the great outdoors.

Summary: The lodge, cabins and amenities were beyond excellent. The rooms, beds, bathrooms were clean, fresh and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare large meals for our group of 8. The great room is top notch and sat our large group with ease. The porches and yard are perfect for hanging out all day and night and for vowing the numerous animals on the property. Do not pass on this if you are looking for a one of a kind ranch experience with your family or friends!

Summary: My family hadn’t had a real reunion in probably 10 years or so. Our hosts welcomed us to the lodge with a homemade blueberry coffee cake, a special touch that showed us they wanted us to have a great time. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Summary: We have rented so many ranches in last few years, enjoying the solitude & view. This is the BEST by far! Patty & Lane are humble about their place, it is perfect. Enjoy the fishing, swimming, views & her cooking!!

Summary: We stayed at the ranch and it's always the best weekend getaway. From the food to the lodging to the hospitality of Lane and Pattii (it's like the Ritz but for hunters) there is always so much to see and do.

Summary: We were so impressed with this ranch from the moment we pulled up to the entrance, the beautiful animals along the way to the Lodge, and entering the impressive Lodge with all of the amenities desired in a home away from home. The cabins outside the Lodge have first class accommodations and are steps to the main Lodge. There was so much to do around the ranch from viewing the amazing animals, to fishing and swimming in the lake, and sitting out by the fire pit. We had such a great time and look forward to booking our next visit.

Summary: If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway then we highly recommend 5F Ranch. We have been there several times during hunting season as well as the off season just to enjoy a weekend of pure relaxation. Being able to bring our dog with us is very important to us too. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by the breathtaking views of the ranch with the most amazing sunrises you will ever see. We really enjoy the tour rides of the ranch to see all the wildlife, the small lake, and the very old settlers cemetery. The clean and comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, and the warm friendly hospitality of Lane and Pattii Laning is more than one could ask for.
