Nestled in a secluded cove with great scenic vistas, this lodge is the perfect get-away for large families or groups visiting Robbinsville or traveling the World Famous Tail of the Dragon. Located just minutes off of highway 129 the majestic setting allows for great amenities but still provides secluded accommodations that provide a great escape from the hustle and bustle of most cities.
This 3 story lodge was built as a destination for a growing multigenerational family. Two king suites have their own fireplace and bathroom to allow for the utmost privacy. While the other Two share access to a large bathroom. There is also an additional half bath on the main floor. The gourmet kitchen is a great setting to host the most delicious meals. Granite countertops and new appliances make you feel as if you are in a "Southern Living Magazine."
Escaping to this grand log cabin will create a new home away from home within the Smoky Mountains. The property has helped create many fabulous memories for our family and I am sure your family or friends will love it too. Summary: Large spacious house with 3 master bedrooms (1 on main floor, 2 upstairs), plus another large bedroom upstairs with 2 twin beds and 6 more twin beds on the 3rd floor. It was in the 80's and hot upstairs, but lots of fans available & easy open windows if it's not raining. No shower in main floor bedroom, spotty internet, missing top rack in dishwasher, lawn not mowed and lots of bees in the clover. Steep, but fully paved driveway, tricky if wet. Lots of essential items in kitchen, comfy beds, lots of rockers on the porch, close to rafting, fishing, Lake Nantahala, Lake Santeetlah and the Tail of the Dragon. Great week vacation with the family overall, quite pleased!

Summary: Wow! The pictures do NOT do this property justice. The home is HUGE! My friends and I were in the area for a wedding and our stay was extremely comfortable with all the accommodations the home provided. Now, beware, the driveway up is a bit of a doozy, but well worth the trip.

Summary: The home is very spacious and roomy with nice views. Perfect for a large group. We had 11 family members and there was plenty of room for us all. Our family reunion was over the Christmas Holiday 2022... An artic weather system blew through and temps dropped well below zero. The first night the temp inside the home was 55f despite having the thermostat set on 72f. After keeping all three fireplaces on 24/7, the house finally warmed up. All things considered, this is a great venue for a large gathering. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would recommend this home to anyone with a large group.

Summary: We had a great getaway here for fall break! Enjoyed the cabin, location and quiet. We will be back! It was very accommodating for our larger family size and plenty of room for everyone! I loved the room off of our master with two beds that allowed for two littles be right there next to us as well!

Summary: Very nice house and clean. Everything worked well. Would be nice to have a top rack in dishwasher but it did work fine. Maybe think about mentioning the billboard with the airplane in the directions. It was a great marker. Thanks for a nice weekend.

Summary: Overall the stay was amazing. beautiful scenery plenty of room. only issue the road to the house is not very biker friendly so be a ware. if not for that I'd give it a 10. The owners live close by so they rapidly res9nd to any issue that may accuse and are super friendly. Thank you for the memorable stay..

Summary: The living room and dining room were really large and able to accommodate all of us. The 4 bedrooms were huge and the 3rd floor sleeping loft had 6 additional twin beds. The beds, pillows and bedding were very comfortable. We appreciated all the extra fans located in each bedroom. Very surprised the downstairs master bathroom only had a tub, no shower. Kitchen was smaller but well stocked. The dishwasher did not have a top rack, which made us have to run it twice as much. The fridge did not have an ice maker or ice cube trays. These seemingly small things were really inconvenient. The outdoor grill worked well. Plenty of outdoor rocking chairs on both sides of the porch. The air conditioners on the 1st and 2nd floor worked great and the ceiling fans kept the air circulating well! The third floor was horribly hot! If the window air conditioner had been turned on several hours prior to our arrival it would have been better. It took half the night and having 4 fans up there before it finally cooled down. Also, glad we brought our own extension cords or we would not have been able to plug the window unit. Very Steep driveway, no issues with with the cars or SUVs getting up or down, but could see issues when there is snow.

Summary: This was the most amazing time. So much history in the place we stayed and the cabin was amazing to. We had 11 people, 5 of which were 3-11 yrs old, total and were all comfortable and had plenty of room for everyone. When we needed anything there was easy access to the manager. We even met the owner. She was the sweetest! We are planning another trip to stay there. Anyone who loves a quiet retreat this is the place. Love, Love, Love it!
