Positive: We were some of the first people to rent the apartment, so everything felt new. We have been to Bamberg before, so had were aware of the location, which is near the station, rather than the centre, The walk to the centre is pleasant and takes about 15 mins, There are places to eat within 5 or 10 mins (or no mins if you go to the Greek place next door!). We were there in hot weather, but if you manage the apartment (blinds down during the day, etc) it wasn't too hot. The bedroom windows need to be closed at night, to avoid traffic noise. We slept well on the huge bed. Communication was excellent and the instructions for entry were comprehensive. There was parking (but we had bikes, not a car, so didn't use it). There are two other apartments in the same block on Air BnB, so internal noise will depend on who is staying there.
Negative: One or two things still need finishing off, but I'm sure these will be fixed very soon and they didn't affect our stay. I've reflected the current state in my ratings, and would have given higher if everything had been already finished.
Summary: Nice place to stay away from the centre.

Positive: Apartment was modern, spacious and very clean. Parking right outside which was great. The hosts were responsive and helpful. It was a nice walk to the old town and lots of shops and restaurants on the way there. The Greek restaurant right next door to the apartment was amazing and even gave us free desserts.
Negative: The sofa chair bed in the living room was quite hard and also quite short in length. Would only fit a very small child. My son slept on the sofa instead.

Positive: Very fast internet everywhere (even on the terrace), height adjustable desk and bright lights made it very pleasant to work here. TV with smart function can also be used as a big screen for home office. Comfortable bed and sofa. Everything very clean. Very nice hostess, answered questions politely and promptly. Kitchen looked new even though I did not use it (except the coffee maker, the coffee was good). I was completely satisfied and would book again for a business trip.
Summary: Perfect for a quick stop on a business trip. Well-equipped for the home office.
