Summary: I booked a hotel on Hotel.com, intuitively a 5-star rated hotel, which I thought was a 5-star hotel, but it turned out to be a B&B. By my expectations, it was subpar. There was no air conditioning, no elevator, and the hotel pre-assigned me to the top floor. When I arrived, the local temperature was 37 degrees Celsius, so the top floor was incredibly hot without air conditioning! Plus, it's a Victorian-style building designed for insulation, which could easily cause accidents for someone with a chronic illness. I immediately requested a room downstairs, but the receptionist said they were full. After repeated requests, she said I had to pay the difference, and it was very expensive. I couldn't accept that, so I had to carry my luggage up to the top floor in 37-degree heat. The room was stuffy, with only two small fans. I stayed there for two nights. Frankly, by hotel standards, it was subpar. By B&B standards, it was quite nice, and the breakfast was good. But it wasn't my choice.

Summary: Good location not too far from town centre. Abbey room had a nice view but bathroom noise could be heard from the room above (particularly running water and footsteps).

Summary: This place was so amazing! You could walk to anything you wanted to do. We were in the garden room and it was perfect. Our stay was 3 days but we never wanted to leave! The staff was so helpful and the garden view was incredible! Breakfast is extra but worth starting your day with :)

Summary: A little shabby but perfect location. Pillows flat and sheets older but bed was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. One room facing the garden was peaceful and quiet while second room facing the street louder as street is busy. Location is a short walk to central Bath with many food options close by.

Summary: When we arrived and checked in, the receptionist was very friendly and took us to our room which is nice. Room beautiful and clean. We didn’t have breakfast as we prefer to eat brunch. Would definitely go back and recommended for sure. Took us about 15 minutes to walk to train station and only about 10 minutes to shops.
