Positive: Great location. Large room. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with nice body wash/shampoo. In room drink making facilities and fridge. Good WiFi

Negative: I would have scored this property at least a 4 if not 5 out of 5 but the breakfast experience was terrible. There is no system. 3 or 4 staff working hard but could work more efficiently if they had a system in place! Book people in, show them to a table which is laid out and talk them through what to do. None of that was done. Crikey was missing. Tables were dirty, coffee/tea area was a mess. The cooked food took ages to come out and when it did was slopped on the plate and not great quality. Either charge for breakfast and do a better job or just offer continental.

Positive: The hotel itself was lovely and the room was extremely comfortable and a great size, the king size bed was a comfy bonus! :D. The food at the restaurant Saffron, was delicious and would highly recommend, serving staff were also wonderful! Breakfast included in the price, which was also lovely.

Negative: Breakfast wasn’t great. Omelette only allowed 2 of the filling choices and cooked breakfast only allowed one of mushrooms, tomatoes or hash brown. I ordered very soft poached eggs on toast and eggs were not soft and only on one piece of toast. Room had shower room door that wouldn’t stay shut and no toilet brush.
