Summary: The Mori House is nicely remodeled, and very clean! It is a five minute walk to Catania Picanello train station, and three minute walk to a small grocery store and Tris Bar, which offers all snacks/meals. It is a forty minute walk into the historic center of Catania. The neighborhood is old and a bit run down, but safe. The property manager is excellent, providing quick and helpful responses to all communications.

Summary: This is an elegantly appointed and comfortable apartment, near the water and within easy reach of all amenities. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks on the rooftop patio. Laura gave us all the information we needed for a successful stay and was easy to contact.

Summary: We loved our stay in Catania. Laura is a wonderful host and even helped us with our misunderstanding of the garbage and recycling. The place was very clean and the terrace on the rooftop was so nice to sit at and decompress from a busy day of tourism. Laura is great! We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in The Mori’s House. It’s a quiet and privat appartment near the local beach where some nice restaurants can be found. The city is very busy and it’s difficult to find some space to park your car, but nevertheless it was a lovely holiday!

Summary: Since this was our first time in Sicily we wanted to focus on a region, rather than cover the entire island. We were able to travel to Etna, Taormina, and Siracusa easily from this location. The apartment was comfortable for 4 adults. One word of caution. If you’re not comfortable with climbing stairs this place may not be for you. The property description, and host attentiveness were spot on.

Summary: The hosts, Laura & Andrea were very accomodating, welcoming & helpful. We had a great stay, and better than expected with easy walking access to the sea (Miami beach lounge), local shops, cafés (Trisbar 1966 & Magri highly recommended), & woodfired take-away Pizzaria 100 yards away on Via Messina. It's a short 15 minute taxi ride to Catania City. If you like a traditional rustic fish restaurant try Nitto in Ognina (10mins Taxi) very popular with the locals (don't be put off by the plastic cups, plates & cutlery)
