Positive: Spacious everything needed was provided and as two of my company couldn’t come in the end it made it even more comfy for the 6 of us staying over. Close to surrounding towns especially Newcastle for the children. Great break away.

Negative: As it was cold and rainy and windy weather during our stay we did note that a heater in one bedroom dudnt work but not too much of a problem really.

Positive: Great house with loads of space. Bedrooms were great and 2 had ensuites. There were 7 adults and 2 dogs on our trip and everyone had lots of space. It has a really cosy atmosphere with lamps, jigsaws and a big stereo system with old blues CD's. The heating was also very easy to operate and it came on very quickly. There was a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and anything you would need for basic cooking including utensils and some oil and seasoning. It's a great location for stargazing if you have a clear night as there's so little light pollution. We had a great time doing this! We walked <5mins to Tollymore Forest from the house, it was ideal. A 5 minute drive to Newcastle. Check-in process was very straightforward. Overall, we couldn't fault the stay and would definitely re-book here.
