Positive: Very friendly host who greeted us and showed everything. The apartment is small but quite cozy. Everything we needed was there, except for soap and shower gel โ€” perhaps the host simply forgot to put them. The apartment isnโ€™t new. For example, hot water is supplied through a gas water heater, which makes it a bit tricky to adjust the temperature, but you get used to it. The shower and bathroom are rather small. A big plus is the presence of air conditioning, which is essential when it gets hot in Portugal. Parking is available on the street near the apartment, but itโ€™s not very convenient, as you just leave the car on the side of a narrow road. That said, we had no issues with it - the street is quite with almost no traffic. Overall, the apartment offers good value for money, and its location is convenient for getting around the region.

Positive: There were treats supplied at the start and bread delivered daily. The patio was large and we sat out a lot every day. We had a walk out from there every day and there was beautiful scenery in all directions. The TV had English shows with Portuguese sub-titles. There was one restaurant and one grocery store in walking distance.
Negative: A little closer to Cascais town. A little closer walk to the next beach.
Summary: It was very cozy and modern. We were very lucky with the weather.

Positive: Very spacious place, huge garden, there is everything you might need for a long stay. Free parking outside of the property. Great location, walking distance from Guincho beach, and short drive to Carcavelos and Sintra.

Positive: Rodrigo is simply a great host. We were welcomed personally, shown everything and could contact him directly for any purpose. We got a free freshly baked bread delivered in the mornings and got quick help when there were any problems. The house itself is very clean, equipped with aircondition/heating, very well equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and the bordering landscape is simply beautiful. The next city (Cascais) is best reached by car. We went there for shopping and some sightseeing. Big enaugh for a daytrip.

Positive: Lots of inside space which was good as a family. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and easy to use, coffee machine was great. Had an outdoor space, but didnโ€™t feel private or exclusive. None the less good to have the space. Quiet location and out of the way but not cut off, walking distance from a great beach.
Negative: Outdoor area wasnโ€™t as private as we first thought/advert gave the impression. Was a cut through for other apartments. Didnโ€™t get sight of swimming pool, but didnโ€™t need to as was November. Unfortunately (and possibly due to travelling into the winter months) the villa suffered from damp. Dehumidifier was in the bedroom which helped, but some cushions suffering from mould.
Summary: Lovely open plan space and access to an outdoor area is useful (if not fully private). Great location and very helpful h

Negative: Bathroom is a little bit on the older side and could use a refurbishment.
