Couples getaway or small family will enjoy this peaceful tropical home in the hills of Luquillo. Perfect stop to stay at if you want to be close to Luquillo Beach, the Kiosks, El Yunque National Rainforest or Vieques/Culebra.
2 bedroom, 1 bath. With a very comfortable queen sofa bed. Additionally there is a pack and play for the little one. Each room has their own sound machines and A/C. The neighborhood is very peaceful. Everyone is very friendly and enjoying island life!
This home is numbered unit "1".
It's has 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, 1 full bath with a tankless water heater. In the living room there is a very comfortable queen sofa bed. The home also has a pack and play/travel crib for your little one. There is a small patio table for outdoor seating.
Parking can be done right infront of the unit. The spot is labeled "1". Parking is also available across the street on the grass of the blue house.
We provide two beach towels and two beach chairs.
Guest have private access to the entire unit "1", the front patio, and their parking areas. The back yard and front yards are shared with other guests.
The neighbourhood is a few minutes up into the hills from the popular luquillo beaches. It's a quiet street because there is no through traffic. You will near dogs occasionally bark and chickens. This is pretty standard for Puerto Rico.
You will need a car to get around.

Summary: Although our stay was short, we did so much and got to know that side of the island well. Luquillo is so close to Fajardo, Nauguabo and the ferry terminal. The house was perfect, easy to get to. It was everything my husband and the kids needed in between trips to the beaches and to vieques. We loved hearing all the animals on the property a spotting the lizards and chickens outside, it was a perfect little escape; we cant wait to come back!

Summary: When we arrived to the neighborhood, there were broken down cars and abandoned properties across and beside the home. We left our teen there while we went to grab groceries (big mistake) and multiple adults were trying to get in the door within about 20 minutes after we left. Thinking it was us (because there's no peephole and windows are covered with metal blinds), he asked for the password, and they continued to try to enter. It may have been the second party for the downstairs unit, but it was not a good experience. Upon getting ready for our evening showers the first night, we picked up a towel in the bathroom, and hundreds of biting ants fell out of it. We then discovered more coming from holes in the walls. Then we checked the kitchen and found that there were hundreds of ants there too. We had just bought groceries, so we squeezed everything we could into the fridge and microwave to try to keep the ants off of them. I contacted the host as my husband was squishing ants and being bitten. I asked him to call immediately, but he was only able to correspond through the app (which I have to close and reopen to get messages to refresh). He said if he sent someone out that night, we'd need to vacate for some time, which was not really an option after dark and mid-way through our showers. Someone came out the next day and took care of the ants, but they left several dishes from the cabinets in the sink, which we had to wash. Thankfully, no ants in the bedrooms. Wifi was good.

Summary: There was a power outage our first evening (by no fault of the host) however were we unable to communicate with the host. The following morning the host reached out immediate and the issue with resolve. This home is in a great location. The surroundings make an amazing experience. We will defiantly rent tis home again.

Summary: Loved staying here! The booking process was amazing and easy and the owners were quick to respond and answer any questions. They also gave lots of tips about the area and about Puerto Rico that were super helpful! It was a very comfortable place to stay and a very quiet area. If you want a simple, cute and comfortable getaway, definitely recommend this!!

Summary: BEDBUGS. We woke up covered in more and more bites every day. Only got bit in our sleep. Made it challenging to enjoy vacation when you're so itchy. The bites quit happening once we left the property. Host was very responsive and seemed concerned that this happened and said they would take care of it.

Summary: This cozy cottage served as an excellent home base for our time in the region. It had all of the needed amenities and home like, comfortable features as well.
