Only 5 miles from Buffalo River at Ponca and many hiking trails such as Hemmed in Hollow, Centerpoint Trail, Lost Valley, Steel Creek and Hawksbill Crag. Only an hour from Branson, MO. Surrounded by beautiful country in a cute and quaint cabin. All you need is to pack your food and come join us at THE VIEW in Compton, AR. We have a fenced yard for dogs. No inside pets please.

Summary: It was a very nice place. Beautiful sunset, well stocked kitchen. Great place to hang out, listen to nature, and play games. The one issue we had was the fact that the gravel driveway was pretty steep. Getting down was not a problem, but getting up was challenging. We have a small front wheel drive SUV. If we had 4 wheel drive it may not have been an issue. Also, the air conditioning was a bit loud, but it worked fine, and we were glad to have it. Overall a great experience.

Summary: The property lived up to its name with an amazing view, perfectly in line with sunset! Property manager was easy to get a hold of and enthusiastic!

Summary: Peaceful, quiet place to rest after a fun day in Ponca/Jasper and on the Buffalo. Hansen was prompt and courteous in his communications, and the place was just as described. We had a nice, relaxing stay--thanks!

Summary: Everything about this stay was fantastic. The only downside, was one day we could not get the toilet to flush and the water faucets had really low water pressure/flow. But it fixed itself later in the day :) Very beautiful spot and comfortable. I would recommend it!!

Summary: Great property small yet clean and had everything we needed. Location was ideal to all of our hikes and adventures. Loved the eavening sunset views and our nightly fires enjoying the stars!!!

Summary: Booked this for a 2 night stay on our honeymoon road trip. Awesome little spot with a breathtaking view. Kitchen, internet, tv, grill, A/C, provided all the necessities after a long days hike. Perfectly located just a few minutes from many trails. Stopped at the Walmart in Harrison on the way down to grab food as it is remote but what we enjoyed so much! This owner has other cabins as well I suggest looking at if you are a larger group! Hope to make it back to this awesome part of the country!

Summary: First time booking and we weren’t for sure what to expect. We were looking for a place to stay with 3 teen boy’s. This was the perfect place. There’s a little pond with deck and porch to sit on. Internet worked great and even Netflix for the teens to stay up late watching movies. We went kayaking not to far away. The boy’s wanted pizza, nothing close by but who doesn’t love a scenic drive to go get:)
