This beautiful, detached, restored coach house is situated only yards from the shores of Loch Long, on the idyllic Rosneath Peninsula where the rugged Argyll mountains meet the sea. Enjoy loch views from the comfort of your living room.

The area is ideal for walkers and cyclists of all abilities, and boasts a magnificent diversity of scenery with dramatic peaks, waterfalls, hidden caves and mysterious, forest covered slopes.
Ayrshire and Burns country lie to the south, and the Western Highlands to the north. Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are all easily reached for a great day out.

Summary: The Southpark Coach House has had the heart and soul of the owner Patricia poured into this delightful property, any one fortunate enough to stay here can't but enjoy a wonderful break. It is superbly equipped with everything you would need and on arrival a warm personal welcome along with home-baked bread and delicious (we were to discover) orange marmalade. The Coach House is situated in an enviable location overlooking Loch Long, West facing to enjoy the sunset over the lake. The view from the living room through the round window is lovely. It's a perfect place for Kayaking or sailing, all within walking distance of the garden. The nearby Knockderry hotel is superb for dining and is walking distance from the property. Two miles away at Kilgreggan, you can find a well-stocked convenience store, a butcher, a cafe and a small pub. As well as a ferry service to Gourock where a train can be caught to Glasgow for a day out. There is a bus that runs along the road which is handy to visit nearby villages. During our stay we saw the Trident Submarine in the Loch, we also saw red squirrels, deer and even bottlenosed whales which had taken residence in nearby Gare Loch. Summary: Most enjoyable stay in this area of Scotland. The view from the lounge over Loch Long was lovely and only a couple of minutes walk to the shore line for our dog to swim each morning was perfect. The cottage is very well appointed and comfortable for a relaxing quiet holiday. We were made very welcome by Patricia the owner. Thanks for a lovely holiday - despite the weather! Summary: The owner lives next door & is very helpful. The arrival pack is superb with a good selection of products. The house itself is very comfortable with a stunning round picture window upstairs in the lounge for you to enjoy the views. The grounds of the house are extensive with a little wood at the back for walking the dog. Patio furniture & loungers are available for use. Summary: I beautiful and well cared for property. Everything has been thought of. Even a welcome pack and cooking and cleaning essentials. About 15 min drive to the national park and about 10 min drive to a coop. Very clean and well equipped. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Summary: A very warm welcome from the owner. Beautiful presented accommodation with a slight twist, bedroom and living room on the first floor with the bathroom and kitchen downstairs. Lovely welcome pack and the views were amazing, loved the view of the loch from the round window!
