Experience town living in the last great ski town of Crested Butte, Colorado! This VRBO is the ultimate location - just two blocks from Elk Avenue on the west side of town and only one block to the nearest bus stop, you won't have to drive anywhere once you arrive. The Nordic Center is just steps away and only a couple minutes walk or bike ride to nearby hiking and mountain biking trails from town.
This spacious 1-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment has a full kitchen and living room with a queen-sized sleeper sofa to accommodate a total of 4 guests. The unit is attached to main house but has its own separate entry.
The bedroom has a queen bed with a down-alternative comforter and comfy pillows, a large reach-in closet with drawers, and a full length mirror. There is a humidifier provided for you in the closet along with extra linens. Warm your towels on the heated towel rack in the bathroom and enjoy a relaxing shower in the stand-up shower (sorry, no tub).
The small, recently-updated kitchen has brand new cabinetry and appliances. There is a single-basin stainless steel sink with garbage disposal, a narrow gas range/oven that has 4 burners, refrigerator/freezer drawers, a microwave, and a coffee grinder and coffee maker. Stocked with basic cookware, glassware, dishes, and utensils, you have the choice of going out, or dining in at the round dining table that seats four.
Please be aware that this apartment is attached to the main house where Katie & Brett and their yellow lab live full-time on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Guests have their own separate gate through the fenced property and a separate entrance into the apartment. Street parking is available, but be sure to pay attention to the signs marked on the streets of where and when parking is not allowed to avoid getting a ticket. During the winter, you will need to move your vehicle from one side to the other each night per town rules.
