Enjoy the Omarama lifestyle of lakes, fishing, golfing, hiking and relaxation when you stay in this sunny holiday home. There are bikes available for use if you feel like biking part of the Alps to Ocean bike trail. The large lounge is very sunny with a great log fire for those winter nights. A spacious kitchen/dining area leads onto the deck which is covered in the summer months by large sun sails for those hot Omarama days. A nearby gazebo houses the BBQ and beer fridge! There is a large lawn area with a shallow water race at rear of section.
You will just love 10 on Teal and won't want to leave.

Smoking allowed outside only. No pets inside.
Remove all rubbish from house on departure (bin located at back door).

Summary: Excellent location, and great amenities. Lots of outdoor and indoor space. Great games and puzzles which kept us entertained on cooler days.

Summary: We had a most enjoyable stay at 10 on Teal in late November 2024. This is a traditional bach that has been updated over time. Everything works OK, the location is great, we had an enjoyable time. The bach is well priced and good value for money. One suggestion ( not a complaint)- if there was a better hose and reel system we would have been able to water the gardens a bit more thoroughly than we did - couldn't quite reach everywhere. We did a couple of days of day rides an the Alps to Ocean ( Ohau to Twizel and Tekapo to Twizel using Cycle Journeys as our bike hire place and their van delivery to the start of each day. )

Summary: We had a fantastic time staying at this home in Omarama—it was the perfect spot for our party of three fly fishing enthusiasts. The house was spacious and well-equipped, offering plenty of room for us to relax and unwind after a day on the water. The kitchen was particularly impressive, fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare some great meals, but if we were feeling like a night off from cooking, it was just a short walk to the local pub where we enjoyed delicious meals. The outdoor garden and deck area were ideal for relaxing with a drink and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. After a day spent fishing, there was no better place to unwind and chat about the day’s catch. Overall, this homestay was a great base for our trip—comfortable, well-appointed, and perfectly located. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped place to stay while exploring the area or enjoying some outdoor activities like fishing.

Summary: Thankyou for letting us stay. It was so nice to have a warm cosy place as the weather was unexpectedly winery . All enjoyed the house and facilities , lovely and tidy . Near to good cafes . Would recommend it to any one wanting to stay and enoy this area.

Summary: This was a great house for an overnight stay. Right in the centre of Omarama with a nice view of the mountains. Lounge was cosy with great log burner. Kitchen was well-equipped. Marie was quick to reply to any questions. Thanks for a good stay!

Summary: Great location for the A2O bike trail. Kitchen is well equipped, stove is excellent. Lounge is very comfortable and heatpump kept us warm. Beds and bedding very comfortable and the street is quiet. Bedrooms could do with black-out curtains or just curtains as street lighting shone through making bedroom very light. Very squeaky door through to bathroom/toilet was annoying through the night - people getting up to the loo (minor problem just needs some CRC). Bathroom is very small.
