Come enjoy 102 Church, a completely renovated 2-story coastal cottage in the heart of Downtown Fairhope hosted by Book Montrose. This 4 Bedroom + Sleeping porch / 3 Full Bath cottage sleeps 11 and has 2 living rooms with an entertainment center downstairs and an outdoor pool and barrel sauna!
The Space:
Perfect for a Fairhope weekend getaway or week+ family or larger groups vacation, this property (along with other Church St Book Montrose rentals), boast the only private pools located within Fairhope’s Central Business District! Similar to its sibling properties (106, 108, and 109 Church), every inch of this traditional meets modern coastal cottage was thoughtfully and lovingly re-designed to ensure a comfortable, cozy and charming stay.
Just like our other Book Montrose homes, we've outfitted 102 Church with AMENITIES to make your stay luxurious and for you to feel right at home!
In the kitchen are white Quartz countertops, reclaimed wood open shelving, Café quality stainless steel appliances, Granite non-stick cookware (full set), Moccamaster gourmet drip coffee maker, Dutch oven, retro Haden designer toaster, Chef's cutting board and knife set, plenty of serving and mixing bowls, wine decanter, baking sheet/pan set, blender, and more. The kitchen was outfitted by people who like to cook, and we've chosen items that we personally use and love in our own homes!
Outside of the kitchen, you will find other amenities such as ultra high-speed Wi-Fi, the latest generation Marshall Bluetooth speaker, the latest 4K Roku smart TVs (including a large theater style 75 in TV in the lower level entertainment room), a foosball table, a drinks cooler fridge, and brand-new washer and dryer.
In the bedrooms, you will find hotel-quality beds, mattresses, pillows and linens - all hand-picked (and extensively tested by our sleep-obsessed team!) - to ensure a rejuvenating night's rest. In the bathrooms are spa-quality toiletries and walk-in glass showers with rainfall shower heads.
Outdoors, you will find your very own wood barrel SAUNA, commercial-quality gas grill, dining table with chairs and pool lounge furniture. All underneath majestic Southern Live Oak trees for the feel of a truly private, spa-like oasis!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and well supplied. Our host was quick and helpful with their responses. Our boys especially enjoyed the foosball table and swimming pool too! If we’re ever back in the area we would definitely rent again!

Summary: This house is cool, it has an old Fairhope cottage vibe, updated and well appointed, furnished with everything you need. Great location and the pool is an added bonus. With plenty of parking, it was the perfect home base for my son the groom and his friends! The property manager was great to work with, communicated and responded to all questions quickly. Really appreciate that!

Summary: The house is in a great location! It’s within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. The house was very clean and comfortable for the eight of us. Check-in and check-out were very easy! We will definitely be back again soon!

Summary: I can't say enough about this property. It's a perfect location to enjoy all the food, walking, and shopping that Fairhope offers and the level of detail and cleanliness of the property were top notch. My kids loved the bunk bed room and playing foosball downstairs and my parents and I relaxed upstairs. Mangers were responsive and helpful. Will definitely return!

Summary: Our family of 9, 6 adults and 3 children fit well. The larger than normal towels were high-end hotel quality. The kitchen had everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen fridge has great room, however we could not figure out how to get ice dispensed. The parking is around and has room for maybe 4 vehicles and is not in the street, which many in Fairhope have only that. There is a tablet in the wall that had some information. The fold out is in a room with a door, but it is 2 singles side by side, and we only found sheets for 1 side. The bunks were great for the kids in the downstairs, but remind them not to hit their head on the low ceiling. The coffee was amazing. The location is within short walking distance to shops and restaurants. The bay is also a short walk, but there is construction going on in parts near it. The pool and sauna looked amazing, but there were some windy and cold days and we didn't get to enjoy it. Thanks for a great place to sleep with our group traveling through for a couple days!

Summary: Delightful cottage located on quiet end of desirable Church Street in walkable Fairhope mainstream. Impeccable inside and around pool area. Wonderful time spent with family. Plenty of space to spread out plus a gourmet kitchen for those who love to entertain! Highly recommend!

Summary: Property is great. All of the additional fees are somewhat deceptive and take away from a desirable property. If not for the extra fees I would consider leasing again for a longer period. Driveway could use paving. Homeowner did a great job updating the property. Couch down stairs was comfortable but the fabric is scratchy.
