Summary: We had a wonderful vacation at "Relax in Maine!" The house was clean and comfortable with all we needed for the week. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend getting a tour by Captain Jim who lives on the lake, if available. Great fishing and relaxing. The water behind the house is a little weedy making it tough to swim but there is good swimming just a short kayak trip away. Overall this is a great place to stay!

Summary: Great family vacation in Maine on Cobbossee! Well appointed home, beautiful spacious yard and a great dock to tie the boat off onto. Also great for lounging and stargazing! The lake is huge and we spent most of our days on it exploring, floating, and visiting a near by fun beach. Couldn’t be happier! Thank you!

Summary: This was our fifth vacation in Maine and it was definitely our best one yet. The home was perfect for our needs, and the location was great. Lots of fun on the lake and close enough for us to venture out to the coast for fun sightseeing.

Summary: Our family of four very much enjoyed our stay here. We rented a boat and spent our days all over the beautiful lake fishing, swimming and cruising. The house location was very nice in a quiet cove with quiet and kind neighbors who appreciate the quiet just as much as we do. The house came with a nicely equipped kitchen with many basic necessities that we brought along -but didn’t need to- Items such as garbage bags, ziplocks, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, hand soap were provided. We did go to the store for more paper towels toilet paper and garbage bags but there were enough for most of the week already there! The grocery store, Dunkin and Walgreens and many other stores are about 20 min away. Around 25 min away are more major stores you may need such as Target. Upon arrival there was an issue with the bed sheets having a musty scent and so we immediately called the owner as they request you to do with any issues. Within the hour they came and resolved our issue- remade the beds with fresh sheets. Wonderful owner -Dawn- went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied with the resolution. She even shared with us some great fishing bait!! On a day that became rainy we drove two and a half hours to explore Acadia National Park and had dinner in Bar Harbor. We had lobster many nights- must visit the Red Barn for Lobster Rolls and The Lighthouse Seafood for whole lobsters and Maine scallops!! We bought homemade pies from a local stand and pigged out on incredible portions of homemade ice cream at Pa’s Place. I teared up when we left because we loved our stay at Relax in Maine. It is a place to go if you want to have a quiet, peaceful, serene vacation. We created memories with our sons that will last a lifetime. We plan to be return!

Summary: 130’ of lake frontage is so nice and gives a feeling of privacy. The grandkids loved catching fish right off the dock. Very clean. We enjoyed the screened in porch.

Summary: We enjoyed a relaxing family week at the camp. We did a lot of boating, tubing, fishing, and swimming on the lake. Spent time relaxing by the water, and in the camp. It was a great spot to get away from it all. The water is pretty shallow in the cove, but the beach area in front of the camp is great for the kids to play. If you stay here I highly recommend you make a stop for ice cream up the road at Pa's Place. Their small sundae could feed a family of 4.
