Summary: Camp David NY is a lovely compound consisting of one large house and 3 smaller ones. Everything is top of the line and beauitfully kept and there is a helpful caretaker on site for things that inevitably need fixing. We are a group of women artists (painters, writers, musicians, etc.) who stayed for a long weekend and had a warm and unforgettable experience. Thanks to Richard and Sheryl.

Summary: This place was incredible. Every member of our group walked in and immediately said wow. In fact, we all said wow even before we walked in, just pulling into the property and seeing how beautiful the house and grounds were. We had a family gathering with 13 adults and there was plenty of space for everyone, and all rooms were comfortable and nice. The younger adults had their own cottages, while the old folks stayed in the main house. Great kitchen, very well stocked. Great common spaces for hanging out, and lots of other spaces for private time. Massive outdoor grill. Great outdoor spaces, gazebo, play area. Plus the chickens and goats! The lake was gorgeous, serene and so private. Lots of fun canoeing, paddleboating, and just watching the water. All-in-all it was so fun, peaceful and relaxing. Hosts were incredibly responsive and super helpful with tips for local amenities. Caretaker was quick to respond when needed, but was otherwise politely invisible. We felt lucky to stay there, and would definitely stay again!
