The various local markets will allow you to discover the fine foods of the Dordogne. Once comfortably settled in, you'll be eager to explore this magnificent region.
You'll be just 13 minutes from the town of Brantôme, known as the Venice of Périgord, and 17 km from Périgueux, rich in Gallo-Roman remains and a magnificent medieval old town. Nearby, you can explore the castles of Bourdeilles and Mareuil, the Villars cave, the pretty village of Saint-Jean de Côle, the truffle ecomuseum, and the Savignac cabins. Activities include canoeing on the Dronne River, treetop adventures, and an educational farm.
1 hour from Bergerac, Montignac (Lascaux 4), or Sarlat, a medieval town with an exceptional heritage.
