Summary: THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY... WE STAYED THERE ON THE WAY TO NC AND DECIDED TO STAY ON THE WAY BACK FROM NC... I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 1842 INN!!

Summary: What a fantastic hotel! The staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. The complementary hors d’oeuvres were delicious and brought to us when we were sat outside in the evening. The whole hotel, the parlour, the room and the courtyard were beautiful and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious and you can choose to have it in the parlour, your room or the courtyard at a time of your choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were so accommodating and they made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Macon 😊

Summary: What a great place! The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff is very friendly and more than attentive. Their nightly happy hour was lovely especially when enjoyed on the expansive front porch. It is located definitely within a few miles of historic sightseeing. We attended a Macon Bacon ballgame which was quite a highlight in our travels. The 1842 Inn is definitely a go back to when we explore Macon further in the future. Thank you very much for a delightful and enjoyable few days while exploring Georgia.

Summary: We love this hotel and its staff! Gloria is a rare gem and makes the best old fashioned ever! Everything from comfort to location and beauty exceeded our expectations! Oprah stayed here and the history of the hotel is so interesting! We will be back and we highly recommend this hotel!

Summary: The only thing “charming “ about this inn were the people. It was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. There was mold on the shower head. I wiped some off with a wet washcloth. If some came off for me, can you imagine what a cleaning solution could do. There was nothing that wasn’t stained, dusty, broken. The keys are huge so they recommend you leave them when you go out. It felt like a dorm picking it up at 10pm. It’s a shame they let it get to this condition.
