6 Bedroom House in Lexington

Our 1920's Guest House, with new (2023) whole house A/C, is situated in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains.
We are the closest accommodation to the Virginia Horse Center as the Oak Hill Cross Country course is directly across the street and the main facility is 1/2 mile away. We are also conveniently located approximately 5-20 minutes from most of the wedding venues in the Lexington, Va area.
This gracious home has five bedrooms upstairs. The two bedrooms with twin beds are accessed through the green and yellow bedrooms. Three full bathrooms are located upstairs.
The sixth bedroom is on the first floor. There is also a half bath on the first floor.
The house sleeps a total of 11 people in beds.
There is a large, fully equipped kitchen and large sunny dining room for all of your cooking and entertainment needs.
Our beautiful Sunroom is located across the rear of the house. This sunny space is perfect for a lovely meal, game playing or enjoying the afternoon with a good book. The rear deck includes a table and chairs with seating for six and a gas grill.
We are conveniently located just 1/2 mile from the Virginia Horse Center and two miles from Historic Lexington, VMI and W&L.

Summary: Lovely property, tucked away from the main road, but everything is a quick five minute drive away. Home was well kept, lots of space for large groups. Kitchen is well appointed with everything needed for a family gathering. Hosts were friendly and communicated very well. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: Very nice and peaceful. Beautiful grounds and nice porch and house has plenty of room to breakout for private use. A useful porte cochere beside the house for loading in the rain. Perfect house for our use.

Summary: Wonderful stay in this lovely home for my daughter’s graduation from Washington and Lee. The house was warm and inviting, with everything you could possibly want or need. The rooms and beds were cozy, and sitting out on the front porch listening to the birds and watching the Virginia rolling hills was a dream! We rented owner’s second home next door, as well which was equally as inviting. Highly recommend!

Summary: Cute house out in the country but in close proximity to W&L campus and around the corner from Walmart. Plenty of space for groups. Really appreciated all the towels and wash cloths in each bathroom.

Summary: My friends and I stayed here when we were competing at the Virginia horse center. The house was perfectly located so we could take care of the horses easily throughout the day and evening. Bernard and carol were super communicative and the house was clean and inviting. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
