Just 5' walk from the medieval village of Séguret, large traditional country house, on the slope of the hill, with a large terraced garden going up to the forest, an outdoor pool, an exceptional open view on the 'Plan de Dieu' plain, a 100 sq.m. terrace in front of the house and a small one on the roof-top. Very comfortable and cozy, quiet, combining sunshine and trees shade. Very peaceful area, but not remote. A hiking path starts just in front of the house and goes straight in the forest. Wonderful sunsets. 5 bedrooms, nice living room and large kitchen-cum-dining-room, plus a play room for kids. Two bathrooms (one bath+shower and one toilet+shower) plus two separate toilets. An extra shower and toilet, and sauna, next to the swimming pool. The lower levels of the house stay very cool in Summer because it is built against the hill. There is air conditioning on the top floor. The kitchen is fully equipped. Wifi internet access, one iMac and a Netflix subscription are all on site. 10' by car from Vaison-la-Romaine, 45' from Avignon. Great for children, and to enjoy the real, original Provence, with full modern comfort. Very good bedding (3 beds in 180x200, 2 beds in 140x200, one child bed, 2 cots, possibility to add extra bedding if required), fully equipped. Linen and towels included. Cleaning included.
The house can be rented (for groups above 10 people) in combination with a small one next door (Home Away ref 1502309), which comes with several beautiful terraces, a beautiful kitchen-living room with a fantastic view, full bathroom and extra toilets, two bedrooms, and a closed garage.

Summary: This is a lovely house in a beautiful, peaceful area. Seguret itself (just a short walk away) is a very smart village with cafes, restaurants etc. and very nice to walk around in the evenings. There are fantastic hill walks nearby. The house is spacious and has a wonderful large terrace at the front of the house, perfect for eating outside in large groups. The pool is up some steps at the back of the house as you exit on the 3rd floor (not great for those with reduced mobility) and it is great to sit around the pool under shady trees or in the sun. The pool is really nice, big enough for doing lengths, and there is also a sauna and shower which some of us used despite the heat! The house has plenty of nice bedrooms. There is one family bathroom on the 2nd floor but the other bathroom with a shower is attached to a 3rd floor bedroom with just a curtain in between, so not really suitable for use by other members of the party. There is also a WC off the sitting room. There is a room off the kitchen with lots of toys in which came in very handy for my 6 year-old. We stayed 2 weeks and no cleaner came in during that time - in retrospect, we felt we should have requested this as we had to change our own sheets etc. during our stay and there was no reduced cost for a 2 week stay. But we had a wonderful time. There were a few minor house problems during our stay and the owner was quick to respond to these.

Summary: The house is a perfect location to explore the charms of Provence. We were 3 couples and very comfortable in the house. Florentin provided guidance on the area and we felt very welcome.

Summary: Really cool and spacious home. Lots of different spaces and wonderful views from the different balconies. We all loved the property and the quaint village of Seguret. We would recommend this property to families or couples vacationing together. Lots of places for privacy. We also loved the views of Provence, the refreshing pool and the large 'pull-in' garage.

Summary: Great house in a fabulous little town! Séguret is welcoming and beautiful. Florentin was as responsive as he could possibly be - prompt and attentive and offered plenty of helpful information. We would love to go back someday!

Summary: Our family enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in Seguret. We were Grandparents and 2 families with children. There were plenty of bedrooms to accommodate us and we liked the layout of the house on the hill with the incredible views from every level. The swimming pool and sauna were a great hit and we were fortunate not to have to share the pool facilities as the adjoining property was not let whilst we were there. Most of our meals were eaten on the terrace. Monsieur Blanc and Denis Rancelot were very helpful both prior to the holiday and whilst we were there with suggestions of nearby facilities. We had a great time exploring the region. The house is a stones' throw from the village and no problem to walk there. All in all a holiday to remember.

Summary: 8 of us stayed here: 6 in the big house and 2 in the adjoining house. The photos do not do it justice, maybe because it's built into the hill like all hilltop villages. It's much bigger than we were expecting. In addition to all the rooms described, the kitchen contains a giant farm table where we'd have breakfast of fresh bread every morning. There are multiple patios, and in addition to the pool there's a trampoline which my kids loved. The house is a very short walk into the medieval town (one of the most beautiful towns I've seen) up the hill where there a couple decent restaurants. Florentin was very solicitous and shared a lot of suggestions about where to eat, buy wine, bread, etc. I would happily return.
