Summary: The bathrooms were dirty and had dead bugs all over. The dining room chairs were in need of repair and one chair was broken. Hall light burned out. Dish washer mysteriously stopped working half way through the trip. And there was animal hair and dog leashes when the property was listed as no pets. I am highly allergic. Also the owners kept texting to check in and came by on a national holiday! Privacy would be nice!

Summary: If you don't mind being off the grid re: Wi-Fi, phone data, and living out of coolers. That is to say, there were a few issues. First, the fridge was not cooling. The freezer never worked and our groceries bought on Friday night were going bad by Sunday night dinner. We couldn't find the extra linens or cleaning supplies to clean up after ourselves. The WiFi password wasn't accurate and no one would respond to our questions if there was an updated password. It's a beautiful location and we started her last Labor Day but we get a rental so we don't have to eat out every night. This was complicated by the fridge situation. Hope they get it fixed... and remove the mouse traps and droppings before visitors arrive next time.

Summary: Marty, who was very pleasant and helpful, met us as we were pulling into the driveway. He gave us a tour of the house and explained how things worked and answered any questions that we had. The house was very clean and modern. Had plenty of dishes, silverware, pots & pans, baking dishes, cookbooks, towels etc. One regular drip coffee maker and one Keurig. The book case had several books for your reading pleasure. Since I forgot to pack my book, I helped myself to a John Grisham novel. Enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake drinking morning coffee, reading and a nice place for drinks and meals.The gas grill was nice and on the deck to be able to see the lake. Spent most of our time on the shaded deck enjoying the lake view. A nice indoors sitting area that overlooks the lake and fishing off the dock was a plus. . Grove is aprox. 5 miles with numerous restaurants and Grand Lake Casino is approx 5 miles. Will definitely book this relaxing getaway in the future!

Summary: If you like a beatiful view in a quiet location with a dock and boat slip right out the back door then look no further! Our family had a relaxing stay and Marty and Kay were great hosts!
