Positive: Everything was wonderful. The townhome is equipped for a comfortable stay. The rooftop deck is actually furnished and we had a few nice study/work days up there and a few pleasant evenings looking at manhattan lights. The location is very convenient - minutes away from light rail, bus stop for Manhattan across the street. There are also a few really good bakeries within walking distance 😋 The owner and the hosting company are extremely attentive and kind! We ran out of detergent during our stay, so the owner stopped by to personally drop it off!
Negative: One minor consideration - even though the location is wonderful, the neighborhood is up and coming, while the owner assured me it is safe to walk in the evening, it did not feel as comfortable as Hoboken. Please note - not a great place for small children or people with mobility challenges - the stairs are quite steep. My daughter (11) was a little scared to walk down at first and scooted on her butt, holding the railing 😆
