This cabin is just feet from the water, beach right next door, fish house and bunkhouse included. Amenities of the cabin are more rustic in feel, very clean but not tile, granite, etc. Two double bunks in one room, double size bed in the other with a pull out and bunkhouse can also sleep 3 to 4 as well. Lake is fully recreational, has a landing and can be fished. There is also a dock for those who would like to bring a boat. THIS IS A CHILD FRIENDLY property.

Summary: The cabin was pretty rustic. No air, but lots of fans provided. Pretty well stocked with dishes, cooking supplies, bug spray, towels, blankets, and such. The cabin is part of an old resort, so the beach is shared by all surrounding cabins. We were the only ones using it while we stayed. Beach is nice, fish in the lake are pretty frisky so keep moving in the water. The over all stay is nothing fancy, but not a bad choice in stay. Could use a deep clean, and possible management of critters.

Summary: This cabin is a great place for a getaway on a lake! I read other reviews that said it was rustic - it is but with all the amenties you need. Comfortable beds, kitchen with all the things you need, and an excellent sleeping porch facing the water! Our teenagers loved the bunkhouse as well as all the available games. Outdoors, we enjoyed the firepit, beach, raft, and kayaks. The lake is quiet and peaceful too. Troy is a great host and has thought of all the little details for an easy stay. We loved it and hope to come back next year!

Summary: This is our sixth summer at the cabin. It has become our happy place - hanging out in the sleeping porch elevated in the trees, reading and napping the lazy days away, going kayaking whenever the mood strikes, and hearing the loons at night. If you want to get away from the pressures of life, this is the cabin for you. We will be back once again next summer.

Summary: The wife, I, and our retired service dog enjoyed our three days stay. There is no Air Conditioning, however with windows open, fresh air and the fans, it was pleasantly comfortable.

Summary: My family had a fun and relaxing experience at this cute vintage cabin. Troy had it set up so that no details are overlooked. It is fully stocked with everything you’ll need. The rooms and beds are cozy with plenty of pillows and blankets and the windows are fabulous. The bunk house is roomy. There are plenty of dishes, pots/pans, appliances, fans, personal products, board games, fans, etc. outside there are extra chairs, a garbage and recycling can, fire pit and plenty of water toys. The lake breeze coming into the cabin is refreshing. I plan to come back with friends for another stay over the summer. I appreciate the communication with Troy, the ease of check in, the cozy cabin and the lake. It is obvious that Troy has considered everything for visitors to have a great stay. A couple of things to be aware of- I was looking forward to using our vacation to train my dog to swim but I wasn’t aware that there was a leash rule until we arrived so we were unable to follow through with this plan. I also did not realize this was in a retired resort where a larger vrbo cabin had 16 people (an extended family of adults and children) staying right next door to us. If you are looking for a more private place, this may not be for you. There are five additional cabins with independent owners on this property.

Summary: We ended up leave this cabin because of the mouse droppings. Let alone there was no curtains on the front window which was a sleeping area. We contacted Troy and he apologized and gave us a refund. I would also like a full refund from Vrbo.

Summary: Large family gathering at lodge next to this cabin. Needed the extra bed space. Cabin is very tiny, bunk house essentially a shed with bunks inside. Screens on windows in poor repair. Super small space..we did not use much but front bedroom for 2 teens and bunkhouse for 2 brave teens. It was not clean.

Summary: We have visited this cabin for five years in a row now. The location overlooking the lake can't be beat and Troy literally has thought of everything guests could need, right down to spare electronics charges. It has become such a special place for us, so much so that we chose to exchange our vows here this year. We will be back again next year!
