Herons Hideaway is an adorable two bedroom, two bathroom family friendly coastal cottage tucked away in the heart of Rockport. It is just two minutes to the Ski Basin, Rockport Beach, Maritime Museum, and the amazing boutiques and restaurants in The Heritage District. The kiddos will love the play house in the backyard that does double duty as a tree fort. It even has a telescope. There is also a huge firepit perfect for roasting Smores and telling tales around. Watch the resident deer forage while sipping coffee on the covered porch in the mornings. You will be treated to great sunsets from here as well.
Inside you will find open concept living. Two comfy sofas, one of which is a sleeper, allow space for all to gather for movie night or the big game. This spot was perfect for enjoying the house itself, getting out when we could—roomy, cheery, clean, well stocked kitchen, etc.We were able to get out and see many of the local sights, driving into Corpus Christi and Aransas Pass.

Summary: We had to spray each other before going to bed. The TV in the living didnt work but was fixed the next day. The beach was not nice. Jellyfish ruined it for the kids. The water was so shallow.
