Overlooking the Long Island Sound, in Wading River New York, Camp DeWolfe’s 19-acre beachfront property is open 12 months of the year for everyone. This apartment is centrally located on the camp Property as a part of DeWolfe Hall, and has direct access to the main parking lot. The apartment has two bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Guests can enjoy local hiking trails, direct access to the LI Sound, and even book other buildings on site, (subject to availability).
All rental properties are kept private, and you are welcome to participate in activities that are provided free of charge. Other buildings on site may also be rented during your stay, however all buildings are separate from other another, and in different areas of the facility. We are confident that you will enjoy your stay at Camp DeWolfe and enjoy the grounds and access to the LI Sound.
Kayaking, Paddle-boarding and Canoeing are offered to guests from May 1st- September 31st
Bike Rental, Climbing and Archery are offered year round if scheduled in advance of arrival, subject to weather conditions.
Facility Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm - 7:00 am. No smoking on site.

Summary: It is always a pleasure and peaceful experience staying at Camp Dewolfe. So accommodating and helpful. Wonderful place to stay alone or with family. You are away in peaceful trees with a beach couldnt ask for anymore serenity. Very clean welcoming and friendly!

Summary: So I can’t go into anything extra that was provided since we were only in town to go to a wedding and the price to stay was perfect. Would want to add that even if you rent it out the entire property is smoke free which we were not aware of. If you want to bring the family I am sure it is perfect but seems to be a lot of rules if you are renting this unit out just to anyone to use when not in use for your regular camp.

Summary: We were there for a family gathering to celebrate my niece's graduation from the Merchant Marine Academy. Checkin and communication with that host was spot on and very convenient. The apartment had everything thing we need for our stay. The location was beautiful. I would definitely recommend a stay! The camp staff was super polite and helpful.

Summary: Great location with beautiful views of LI Sound, private access to beach, use of all camp facilities (basketball courts, pool, tetherball, ropes course, fire pits). We have 2 kids under 4 so we primarily used the beach, which we had to ourselves all 3 days, and the pool. Matt and the staff are kind and very responsive . Will be coming g back annually!

Summary: The apartment was as advertised and the description does not do justice to the grounds or the sunsets from the high cliff-tops. My only advice would be to better stock the kitchen since it is a key element of the rental vs. a hotel room. Some kitchen basics like a sharp knife etc would have greatly improved the practical side of our stay. A $50 trip to a dollar store would largely do it. Other than that - a strong recommend.
