2 Bedroom House in Canoe, Salmon Arm

900 sq ft 2 Bedroom Carriage Home on quiet rural property overlooking the Village of Canoe and beautiful Shuswap Lake.
Enjoy the views from the sundeck off the main living area. A compact kitchen consists of cook top stove, fridge/freezer and microwave. It is fully stocked with dishes, the necessary utensils, and coffee machine. There are 2 large bedrooms (1with a queen bed,1with a double bed) with ample closet storage and also have provisions for extra guests.
The 80 acre property provides numerous trails for hiking or mountain biking. We are 5 minutes away from Canoe Beach and Boat Launch. 10 minutes to downtown Salmon Arm. There are numerous golf courses close by and local wineries for tours. We are 40 minutes away from Larch Hills which has additional trails for hiking and mountain biking and is well known for its cross country skiing in the winter. There are many other local activities (such as the Roots & Blues Festival) and sites here in Salmon Arm - just ask for more information about our community!
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.

Summary: The hospitality from Beverly is top notch! She is absolutely wonderful lady and the view from the property was amazing. Only 5 minutes from Salmon Arm. Highly recommend this place. 10x better than staying at a hotel.

Summary: We had a wonderful time here. Beverley is the consummate host - friendly, responsive and attentive. The views are spectacular, the lodging clean, and it's a great spot to go hiking - trail systems within a 5-10 min drive in many directions. We'll definitely come back!

Summary: Beverley was very accommodating to our requests before we arrived and checked in to see if we needed anything. Lovely quiet property about 100 ft from the main house. You're located on the top of a three car garage so the view of the lake is as shown in photos. We had a small dog with us so plenty of room behind the rental property to throw a ball. Cons were there are no hooks at entry and the bedrooms have large but odd closets if you want to hang anything, so no hooks for hanging robes or daily clothes changes, etc. but each bedroom did have a chair or lounge to make up for that. Coat closet at top of stairs upon entry. No handsoap at kitchen sink and minimal dishrags, teatowels and toilet tissue. No AC so to keep the place cool its best to keep the blinds down- which obscured the view we wanted to see from about 10 am-7 pm as it cools down outside in between those hours (July.) Pros: lg. yard, kitchen is well appointed for cutlery and dishes, full sized fridge/freezer, fans provided and the temperature was comfortable inside, patio has an umbrella for shade, clean in bathroom and comfortable overall. It probably wouldn't have taken much to add AC when they built this or as an addition, and increase the rental rate a few dollars per night to pay for that- assuming that is allowed in rural rental properties in BC. That would have opened up the whole view outside the window that was a large part of why I booked the property. Would book again. Thank you for pleasant stay.

Summary: This property has spectacular views and if you want peace and quiet there are 80 acres of it and this is the place for you. The host is very friendly and helpful and really care that you have a wonderful experience. I would drfinitely go there again!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property. Canoe is the perfect quiet little town and so close to Salmon Arm for convenience. Bev and Mike were great hosts and were very helpful! Would definitely stay here again.
