Summary: We stayed at this property for 3 nights. Cheaper than staying along the loop and right on the water. The beds were comfortable, has all convenient amenities and a cute market not too far away. Only negative was the swarm of lady bugs inside. We would tidy up then have another one come on the counter, land on a glass etc shortly after - looked like a hive hatched in a window. I would also recommend a small bridge or planks along the one section of driveway at the bottom of the hill. All in all - we would stay again if we are back in the area!

Summary: The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. It was plenty warm once I found the controls. The setting is beautiful, and the stairs down to the lake are sturdy and look less than a year old. The biggest drawback was that the linens were washed in scented detergent and dryer sheets. It gave the bedrooms an old hotel smell they didn't need. I found it hard to sleep until the scent dissipated.

Summary: The cabin is secluded as in you can’t see your neighbors and right on the water. Lake Ainslie is beautiful lake! The cabin is small but comfortable and well-stocked with everything you’d need. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and a nice shower with plenty of hot water. The owner responded quickly when I had a question. Overall very satisfied with our stay!
