How do you want to spend your vacation: Fishing, tanning, exploring or lounging? Come enjoy our quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom (shower only), mid-island, lower level apartment where you can enjoy all four!
Our apartment is located on a quiet street with private access to our beautiful white sandy beach- just two minutes away! The local Trolley stop is at the top of the street making it convenient to go explore our "Times Square" without needing a car. Publix Supermarket is only .5 miles away. We are also located 2 minutes away from the back bay where we have a private fishing dock and cabana- great for bird watching, fishing and enjoying a glass of wine!
More about the apartment: Private screened in front porch, sleeps 4 (1 queen bed and 2 twins), Flat screen TV in all rooms, washer/dryer and FREE WiFi. Bathroom towels, hair dryer, iron and iron board, umbrellas, linens and kitchen cookware provided. Six person hot tub. *Please note, this is a railroad apartment- to get to the second bedroom you must go through the first!*
What's ours is yours- fishing rods, 2 bicycles with locks, beach towels and beach chairs are available for the duration of your stay.

Summary: Madelyn is amazing, the house was so stocked we have never stayed in a home that had everything you need, beach access is close, the hot tub and the outside area is wonderful, had beach towels and beach chairs, and the wagon was great, we will definitely go back!!

Summary: We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at Madelyn’s apartment (3 adults). We had everything we needed for a lovely beach vacation. Well equipped kitchen, all the beach equipment and towels provided. The apartment has a beach cottage atmosphere, and was about 200 yards off the beach in a well kept neighborhood. The private neighborhood entrance to the beach was great, literally 2 minutes walk. Mid-Island location was perfect, close to everything, but away from the hectic bustle of Times Square. The hot tub is super with tons of jets and power. As described in the listing, you walk through 1 BR to get to the second BR, which was fine for us. Parking was very good with room for 2 cars. 3/4 bath is small but serviceable for a beach cottage. LR has comfortable seating for 4-5. Covered patio is very nice. Publix and restaurants very close. Beware if you plan on leaving Fort Myers Beach to explore Fort Myers, the traffic on the bridge can be a challenge. Leave extra travel time, especially from 10 AM - 6 PM. Summary: Three best friends and shipmates from our cruise ship days needed a mini vacation/reunion down in the Fort Meyers area... What Madelyn provided was the most adorable, CLEAN, spacious, homey and reasonably-priced rental which is steps from the beach, in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. She lives upstairs and greeted us when we arrived - truly a warm and engaging soul - and was quickly available for anything we needed (a muffin tin?!) yet gave us all the space we needed and the house is so sound-proof, we never heard a peep!! The place is beautifully decorated in nautical/beach themes (which made US feel SO at home!), we slept like babies and we wanted for NOTHING!! She provided a nice little touch with a welcome basket with snacks and goblets and even sunscreen!! Can't get much better than that and, if we ever return to the area, THIS is where we'll stay.
