Summary: Atlas provided the cabin and comfy accommodations we needed for my husband, myself and aging 4 legged family member… she is close proximity to cabin but we felt we had the privacy we were looking for as well… all good!

Summary: Hen house was a neat and orderly little cabin in small town Martindale. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Owner even left the lights on for us due to our evening arrival. She had also contacted us to make sure everything was good. Which it was. If you need a quiet place to recharge it will not disappoint. Stay here.

Summary: The “Hen House” was a lovely quaint cottage, and a perfect place to stay for a weekend wedding. We enjoyed not fighting the traffic and the crowds. The rental had everything we needed and more. We loved the short walk down to Main Street for a drink and appetizer at the Martindale Riverfront Cafe. We also walked across the street to the Good Things Grocery. This little store stocks many gourmet items that you would not expect in a small town. We rate this experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at the Cottage! It is absolutely adorable and the perfect place to stay...my family and I will be back to stay again. We had a wonderful lunch at the Martindale River Cafe and delicious breakfast at the Red Barn Bakery. Arlis is a wonderful hostess and made sure our stay was perfect!! Very convenient to the San Marocos area.

Summary: The cottage is cute and cozy and very reasonably priced! Hostess is great. The cottage had lots of extra blankets, books, and a full kitchen with many coffees and teas to choose from. Martindale is a very small, safe town, but still I appreciated the electric gate for added security. Only about ten minutes from San Marcos for grocery shopping or picking up food. It’s really a prime spot to stay for a long weekend in Central Texas, as you can enjoy a quiet morning in the country, tubing on the river, and dinner in Austin all in one day. I would definitely recommend staying at the cottage!
