There are many beautiful walks and lanes to cycle. Within an hour are different attractions for all to enjoy.
Our hamlet is set in a wooded rural area 2 miles from the village La Ferriere en Parthenay having a bakery, 2 cafe/bars and a small store. The larger supermarkets and many other shops, cafes, restaurants etc are only a further 10 minutes away in Parthenay a large town full of historical monuments and modern facilities.
The Deux Servres region of France enjoys the most sunny days after the south of France and is perfect for biking, walks, visiting the local lakes and unspoilt villages or just relaxing here around our large swimming pool.

Only guests listed on the booking are entitled to stay at and use the facilities at Aspace Gites. If you wish to invite day guests, this must be discussed and agreed with the management in advance with a charge per person to be paid.

YOUR ARRIVAL
· On arrival your hosts maybe wearing masks and gloves. Please ensure that you maintain the recommended social distance of 2m
· You will be shown to your gite but your host will not enter with you. We ask that you check your accommodation and confirm that everything is OK
· Your key will be in the door and will have been disinfected
· One person from you party will be given a tour of the site and the facilities

· Your gite will have been cleaned and all hard surfaces will have been disinfected before your arrival
· Hand wash soap is provided for your use during your stay. Please wash your hands frequently.
· Disinfectant is provided for use during your stay. Please use only the designated cloth.
SHARED SPACES - POOL, GAMES AREAS
· All shared use areas will be disinfected at the end of each day
· Please wash your hands before entering any of the shared spaces

Summary: A lovely location and excellent facilities. We spent a very happy and peaceful week here. The swimming pool is superb and perfect for kids of all ages. We enjoyed many games of table tennis and the outdoor facilities are perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing. The owners were very friendly and helpful and understanding of channel tunnel delays that saw us arrive six hours later than planned. Highly recommended.

Summary: Wonderful holiday , Gite was great lots of things for kids ( even teenagers ) to do. Hosts were very nice and put on events if you want to participate. Wonderful holiday

Summary: We would highly recommend this gite. This was our 2nd time staying here and we have already booked to go back again next year. We stayed for 2 weeks and only left the gite on 3 occasions, as there was so much to keep the children entertained (children are aged 7-9 years)Aside from the lovely pool, there is a volleyball court, football goal, play area, table tennis and pool. Owners-Rose and Neil also organise volley ball games, a sports afternoon, group bbq nights and movie nights for those who wish to participate. All were great fun. The gites are clean, bright and modern. Rose and Neil are perfect hosts- relaxed and friendly and there if you need them.

Summary: Rose and Neil were brilliant hosts. So interesting to hear their story of how they developed their dream. Our boys (aged 10 and 14) loved the space that they had outside and the fact that they could independently swop from swimming, table tennis, football, volleyball, basketball and lots of other outdoor games. We loved the outdoor film night with popcorn for the kids and a glass of wine for the adults. The Gite was very clean, well equipped and had lots of storage. Large supermarkets within 15 mins drive and lots of BBQs enjoyed.

Summary: This property is exactly as described. It is located approx 2km from a very small village and about 15 mins drive to the town of Parthenay where the nearest supermarket is located (Lidl). We travelled with 2 children (8 & 12). Our children had so much space and freedom here. There is so much to keep them occupied. Pool area is great , lots of space. The play area is great, suitable for football, volleyball, playing in the sandpit or just running round as children do. The accommodation has everything you need. The wifi signal is great should you require it and there are plenty of English speaking tv channels. The gite is clean and beds are comfortable. Neil and Rose are perfect hosts who are there if you require them. They will happily source information and assist you however they can. Very welcoming hosts. There is lots to see in the surrounding area but some days it is hard to pull yourself away from the pool. You can easily spend the day at the property relaxing and enjoy a bbq in the evening while catching the last rays of the sun. We tried horse riding, visited Lake Cyr for a swim and hired a pedalo and visited La Vallee de Singes which was a great day out at a monkey sanctuary. Would suggest that you bring a Sat Nav with you if planning on visiting attractions. We would not hesitate to recommend the property.

Summary: Travelled to this Gite as a family of four including two children aged 11 and 4. After a very long journey from Northumberland we were welcomed by our hosts Neil and Rose who were extremely welcoming and helpful all through the week. The gite was spotless and clean and included everything you need for a week away. The kitchen included everything you could possibly need and we were able to use the washing machine throughout the week. The gite has two very large bedrooms and is able to sleep six adults comfortably. We used the outside dining area and BBQ every day and were fortunate to have sunny hot weather all week. The children enjoyed playing by the pool which was securely fenced off and there were loads of activities which the kids could enjoy while we sipped some wine, such as ping pong, pool, darts, slide, see saw, ball games, cricket just to name a few. We did not stray far from the gite as it was so relaxing, so are looking forward to booking a fortnight next year so that we can enjoy all the attractions which are on offer in the local towns. I would recommend this to families with children and larger family groups travelling together as there are two gites next to each other so could easily accommodate 12 people. The grounds outside the gites are flat so could easily be accessed by wheelchairs if needed. I cant actually think of any faults or ways the holiday could of been improved, Neil and Rose were the perfect hosts who made us feel welcomed and we cant wait to return next year.

Summary: Had a lovely stay recently at Aspace gites. Weather perfect and location ideal. The gite was comfortable and the outside grounds were just perfect for the kids - aged 8 & 10yrs. Plenty of space for them and lots of activities. They did not want to leave the grounds during the few days we were there. They had great freedom in the pool - a very safe pool - a cement border with no tiles so kids were never going to slip on wet tiles so they could cut loose! It was big enough for them to have plenty of fun with balls and diving and all that kids get up to. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A very interesting couple and we had a group BBQ on our last night that was full of great conversation with the owners and other guests - most enjoyable. I would recommend without hesitation.

Summary: Just got back from a very relaxing week here. We stayed with our 11 year old and 16 month old. We all had a really lovely time - the facilities are fantastic and Rose and Neil could not be more helpful and accomodating. Both boys had so much fun - plenty for our active 11 year old to do and keep him occupied. The 16 month old has the freedom to run around and play on the large field and we could happily sit and watch him without worrying for his safety. Highly recommended for families with children of all ages.

Summary: We would like to thank Rose and Neil for there great hospitality and helpfulness throughout our stay. We booked the Gite at very short notice as we had several properties that we where going to view as we are planning to retire to France shortly. The Gite is located in a very convenient location to be able to explore many different departments and locations in the south west of France this was perfect for our requirements. We have visited France several times this year on viewing trips and wanted a home from home place to stay instead of the usually drab and corporate style hotels that you get in France, Rose and Neil where so obliging and helpful from the point of booking to the end of our stay, The property is a perfect place to stay and offer that home from home feel with everything you would want from self catering family accommodation, clean, comfortable,safe and peaceful to a good standard with good local facilities to hand within a reasonable traveling distance. We did go out of season but the facilities that Rose and Neil offer would suggest that you could have a great Family style holiday here including a lovely pool area and play areas for the children in a safe environment,They have worked really hard to create this and have come up with the all goods so to speak. I have worked in the hospitality industries for many years but now retired and I would not hesitate to recommend Rose and Neil to my family and friends and ex college's to stay here. Summary: Visited these lovely Gites in July this year, what a lovely place. As a slightly older couple we were not sure where to stay but definitely made the right choice. Having all the facilities on one floor was great, the large wet room being a bonus. The pond area was so relaxing we spent many hours feeding and watching the fish. With another family also staying it was a joy to watch their children play and still have plenty of space for relaxing ourselves. Our BBQ was very busy and we definitely enjoyed the wine, a truly super place we would recommend to anybody. Rose & Neil made us very welcome and gave all the information we asked.
