Summary: Stayed in this cute apartment with my family of four (including two teens). Plenty of space and very comfortable. Owner was very responsive and checked in often to make sure everything was going well. Very good location - we were able to go to NYC and the Hamptons without any trouble at all. So nice after a long day to go back to an apartment instead of a hotel. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal and the bathroom stocked with towels and wash clothes. The backyard is quite lovely and the neighborhood seemed very safe. Highly recommend and will hopefully be back again!

Summary: The host was very accommodating. They were easy to get ahold of when needed. House is in a reasonable location for a New York vacation (1hr 45min from New York City). Their cleaning lady can be more detailed and efficient (cleaner when we left then when we arrived). Perfect for a small family (with kids)or group of young adults. The apartment is located in the basement so it can get pretty chilly in the winter. That being said make sure to bring extra blankets. Overall very enjoyable experience

Summary: There is an internal joke I have about things not looking like the picture. I must say that what you see in the pictures in VRBO site is exactly what you will get, and pleasantly so. Depending of what your plans are, you are either a car or a train ride away from places. The rental was comfortable, with so many amenities packed inside a spacious area, if you end up spending more time inside due to weather. Appliances, furniture, etc. all new due to it being recently remodeled. No carpet which is a plus for people with allergies. Host was constantly in touch making sure all was as it should. As with anything new, there are bound to be a few missteps. The yard still bore the remnants of the remodeling with scraps of wood and bags of discards. I am sure next renter will not see that. The microwave was a bit high for short people. Maybe a step stool? The cleaning staff missed cleaning it and it still had splatter all over the inside. Host apologized and ensured it will be remedied. The door was tricky because none of us had seen this type of mechanism. Host was readily available by phone to guide us. The 4 stars given were based on the microwave, yard and door issue. All easy fixes.
