Summary: The communication with Samantha was really easy and I appreciated the quick responses and the information provided. The location was perfect for our needs as we could go to North Cape in a short time, and all the other attractions we wanted to do in the area. On top of that we could get up with the view of the horse field in the backyard. It was amazing. However, when we arrived, we were disappointed wit the quality of the lodging. The floor was sticky (not sure why) and all the furnitures were deficient. Personally I would have put bright colours to make it more welcoming and warm. It was too dark for our liking. It was missing some kitchen appliances to make it homey. The beds were uncomfortable and the quality of the lodging was not up to standards. There is a lot of maintenance to do in the house to make it livable. It has a lot of potential but some renovations should be done to make it rentable to visitors.

Summary: It was an excellent setup for 2 families to share. Well equipped kitchen and very clean. The host responded very quickly to our self created problems and solved them. The horses and barn cats just over the fence in the backyard were a welcome bonus. Everything worked well and the host provided house book was very helpful. We all appreciated the FYI wall.

Summary: The accommodations were spacious and conveniently set up. We also had a dog, and large area around the house to walk the dog and for him to safely have a run around. There were plenty of dishes, towels, blankets, and space for two couples and a dog to share comfortably. Unfortunately, one of the beds had a broken bedspring which collapsed in the middle of the first night, causing the one of the sleepers serious discomfort. The following day, we managed to locate a board at a building supply place, sufficient to brace the bedspring.

Summary: We underestimated the size of PEI so the location, although ideal for the North area, required a bit more driving each day. Unusual that we had to dispose of our own garbage-have not encountered that before. Home was clean and kitchen was equipped for cooking. Should have asked about toiletries, laundry soap and basics for a cup of coffee in the morning-the nearest grocery store is not so near.

Summary: We spent four days in this area visiting parks & lighthouses and driving the seaside route. We stopped in the Acadian villages, busing the museum - and the Potato Museum which was very interesting. We bought lobsters off the pier at Northport and ate at the restaurant there - great seafood chowder. The gift shop across the street has some very nice things! We also bought lobster at the Royal Star co-op at Tignish. Good prices & very fresh. Spent a lazy day at Tignish Beach. Thanks Samantha!
