This listing is for TWO cabins- equipped with hot tubs and outdoor patios.These luxurious units are part of Cape Carraholly Retreat, a unique 75 acre property tucked away in British Columbia's old growth, oceanfront rainforest.
These cabins are labelled "C1 & C2" on photo #7 of the property map.
THE SPACE
The cabins at Cape Carraholly Treat are renowned for their spacious patios and abundance of natural lighting. Of the 2 cabins, one contains 3 bedrooms, each with a Queen size bed. The Master bedroom is additionally equipped with a luxurious 4-piece ensuite as well as a desk for your work needs. The other cabin contains 2 bedrooms; the Master bedroom with a King size bed and 4-piece ensuite and the other bedroom with a Queen size bed. Although the layout in both cabins is quite similar, the third room in the second cabin is set-up as a lounge & games room rather than a bedroom. Both cabins have spacious and cozy living rooms as well as fully stocked kitchens.
**Please note that the WATER IS POTABLE**
What truly makes these cabins unique are the opportunities for activities and adventures that the outdoor space provides. The patios encompass multiple sides of the cabins and are filled with lounge chairs to soak up the sun, BBQs for cooking delicious meals, and fire-pits to huddle around and share stories and laughs with your loved ones. Enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub and enjoy the sounds of the rainforest, the dim glow of the starry night, and most of all- the escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The Property is located on a 75 acre ocean front property at 73WR+2PC, Port Moody, B.C. An extensive beach and inlet shoreline will satisfy your adventurous spirit. Discover over 26 km of hiking trails and 9 km of cycling trails throughout the dense rainforest of the təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park where you will find beautiful hidden beaches, diverse flora and fauna, and trees older than 500 years. Step out the back door and enjoy quick access to an abundance of outdoor activities including jet skiing, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, boating, and swimming off the dock. Please inquire for more details on watercraft rentals. The communal beach shack provides seating and a gas fire pit for guests to use while savouring B.C.’s unrivalled sunsets.

GUEST ACCESS
Access to the property is limited due to its remote location. You must coordinate transport logistics with the host in order to enter and depart from the property during your stay.
Guests have full access to the 1,300 sq.ft. 3 bedroom cottage as well as the densely-wooded 75 acres it sits upon. The deck and yard space surrounding the cottage is equipped with a fire pit, BBQ, hot tub, hammock, and outdoor dining. Guests also have access to the dock, beach, and hiking trails within the property.
POTENTIAL FOR DISTURBANCE
- Potential for noise due to occasional nearby train activity.
- Tides and waves as a result of commercial shipping lane activity, if you are staying on a boat overnight.
NEIGHBOURHOOD DESCRIPTION
The property is located within the jurisdiction of the City of Port-Moody, but just on the border of Belcarra District.
Discover over 26 km of hiking trails and 9 km of cycling trails throughout the dense rainforest of the təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park where you will find beautiful hidden beaches and diverse flora and fauna.
The təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park is a 1, 00 hectare (2, 700 acre) regional park on the shores of the Indian Arm of the Burrard Inlet in Belcarra, British Columbia, in the Greater Vancouver area.
BOAT SHUTTLE SERVICE
Parking and transport logistics will be provided to you through a PDF file automatically upon confirmation of your reservation. Specifically, we provide parking for guests as well as an approximate 10 minute boat shuttle from the meeting point at Rocky Point in Port Moody, B.C.
Most of our guests pack enough food, beverages and luggage for the duration of their stay as there is no vendor nearby. Once you are on the property, you will need our assistance if you would like to leave the property.
Please note that this is a water-access only, remote property. The uniqueness of the property offers unique challenges and costs. We are NOT a hotel. Please respect that we have a time restrictive check-in and check-out process to make this project possible to exist.
One boat shuttle is included in the cost of your stay for both the check-in and check-out process.
Each additional boat shuttle costs $25.
You may need to pay extra fees if you apply to any of the following:
EXTRA FEES:
1) You have a group larger than 8 (the boat fits 8 guests in addition to the driver).
2) You have guests completing the check-in & check-out process at separate times.
3 You have excessive luggage. Staff have the right to determine the maximum capacity per boat shuttle according to safety regulations.
4) You request extra boat shuttles throughout your stay.
For example, if you have a group of 10 guests, you will need 1 extra boat shuttle trip during the check-in process ($25) and 1 extra boat shuttle trip during the check-out process ($25) for a total of $50.

DISCLAIMERS
INFANTS:
-Although we are open to hosting infants on-site, we do not provide the supplies necessary for the accommodation of infants (cribs, dishes, child gates, etc.).
-The units are also not set-up to ensure the safety of young children and may contain hazards.
-The safety and wellbeing of infants is ultimately the responsibility of their parents/ caregivers.
WEATHER: -Please dress warmly and prepare yourself for unexpected weather conditions. We strongly advise that you bring rain gear since the pontoon shuttle boat provides limited rain protection.
REMOTE PROPERTY
-You must understand that this a remote property in the wilderness and thus requires attention to the risks of exposure to the elements or wildlife.
SWIMMING:
-All guests accessing the beaches may swim at their own risk. Guests' safety is their responsibility and up to their own discretion. The waterfront is part of the ocean and may therefore have undertides.

REPORTING ISSUE:

HOUSE RULES
STRICTLY ENFORCED (Wildlife):
-($100 fine) No food, garbage, luggage, dishes or anything with the potential to attract wildlife such as bears or mice is to be left outdoors unattended.
-($50 fine) No doors left open. Close doors behind you to prevent wildlife from entering the cottages.
NOISE:
-($50) Noise complaint(s) from guests in other nearby cottages.
-($150) Excessive noise and music after 11 pm, or a second noise complaint.
EXTRA CLEANING:
-($25) Some dishes are not washed (one side of the sink).
-($50) All dishes not washed (two sides of the sink).
-($75) Party or "event" cleanup.
PETS:
-Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
-Pets cannot be left in a cabin unsupervised.
-You must clean up after your pet.
