Summary: Mt sisters family and my family meet in a different place every summer. There's a total of 7 of us. Swan House was a great fit for us. The house itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and so close to Highland Lake. We LOVED the paddleboards and kayaks and our 3 kids had a blast out on the lake. We enjoyed our breakfast time around the table, many games were played in the livingroom, and the house itself was a great basecamp for our trips to Augusta, Acadia, and Portland. There are a number of really great restaurants within a short driving distance from the house as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of bathrooms made clean up after the lake super easy, and our check in/out was so simple. Maine is incredibly beautiful and we'd absolutely stay at the Swan House again in the future.

Summary: We spent 2 weeks at this lovely home and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is spacious, super-comfortable and has every amenity, including cable tv, a rare luxury these days. Highland Lake was fabulous for kayaking and just floating, and Portland and Pine Point Beach are a mere 25 minute, easy drive away. Very responsive host. Truly hated to leave!

Summary: This home was exactly as advertised. It had great amenities, including the kayaks, paddle boards, and charcoal grill, all that we used. Having the lake handy was wonderful for an evening paddle or dip. Small details also made it great such as plenty of cutlery and dishes for our group of 6 adults and 2 babies. The large living room and porch allowed us to play our board games and just relax together. The proximity of Portland allowed us to go out to dinner a couple of times and catch the ferry to Peak's Island. A beautiful place, both inside and out.

Summary: I absolutely love this place. It was comfortable and very clean upon arriving. The house came with everything that we needed and then some! The kids loved the canoe and kayak and the lake access was very close and convenient. Communication with the property manager was easy and they addressed all our pre-visit questions and concerns.
