Nearby Thyon 2000 offers an indoor swimming pool and childcare (from 18 months; winter season), ~6 km. Charming winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes with great views in the surrounding area. In the neighbouring village of Héremence, there are centuries-old wooden farmhouses and typical hay barns on stilts. The swimming lake Les Iles in the Rhone Valley is approx. 20 km away. A stroll through the narrow streets of the historic old town of Sion - 18 km - the capital of Valais, and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile.
