Summary: Visited Hampton for a fishing/boating trip with my husband, sister, bro-in-law and our young hound Rosie. This house met all of our needs. We enjoyed having so much space, grilling out (there were two grills) and the oh so very comfy beds. Rosie loved the totally private and fenced yard, walks on the beach and around the neighborhood. There is nothing fancy about this house but it is full of lovingly curated treasures from all over the world - much of it vintage and retro but in a super comfy (and quirky fun) way! And I've already mentioned the beds - but really, they were the great - nice linens, too - I think some were vintage cotton. No "microfiber" anything here! House was super clean. Genevelyn was very helpful when I had (just a couple of) questions and texted me back immediately. Helpful hints for other travelers: - Don't wash the dishes when someone is showering (we learned this the hard way). It's torture to the person in the shower. - Bring phone chargers and USB plugs (and maybe an extension cord (also learned this the hard way bc we forgot that older homes don't have plugs and built in USBs every 3 feet). - Bring a bundle of firewood if you want to use the Solo Stove aka fire pit. - Eat at Fullers. Best poboys outside of Louisiana. - Drive and/or walk around Fort Monroe (so much cooler than expected).

Summary: We are from South Jersey and we met our family from NC for vacation. The home was perfect for our families of four adults, three teenagers, and two children. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host Genevelyn was quick to respond to every question and thing we needed. There was a lot of space, the AC worked great, the beds were comfortable and we all fit around the table for dinners! Everything we could fit in a week was in walking distance or a quick drive. Genevelyn gave us great tips to enjoy our stay. Perfect vacation!

Summary: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The home accommodated all of our needs, from beach gear, to a basket of snacks & a bottle of wine to greet us, and a great backyard for the family dog! Genevelyn was wonderful in communicating with us and we will look forward to returning in the future!

Summary: We drove 5 hours to this beautiful home for a family graduation and 60th birthday. The home is big and spacious and very accommodating for all ages. Two bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs was great for having small children who go to bed early. The new shower install made things a lot easier with a large group. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs and the proximity to the beach was perfect. Although the weather was not the best, we did get a wonderful last day in at the beach and had a great time. Will be booking again!!

Summary: This was a great meeting point between Pa and NC! House was a good size for our Family of 9. Well stocked kitchen, closet full of games to entertain our grandkids. Short walk to the beach. Clean and family friendly beach. A few snags, but our host was on top of it all and responded quickly! If your wish is to relax at the beach, this is the place.Only disappointment was when we visited Downtown Hampton on Friday night, all the shops close up at 5pm!! And the beautiful Carousel in the middle of town was closed for repair! But do check out The Air and Space Museum in Hampton! Great for kids and adults!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this home !! It was filled with nice unexpected surprises like snacks in the kitchen and little toiletries in the bathrooms, etc….The beds were all really comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family to spread out. It is just a short walk to the beach which was so convenient. There are televisions in every room which was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

Summary: This cozy home is nestled in a quiet community near Buckroe Beach in Hampton with walking distance to the beach. The house was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you would have at home. The Host, Genevelyn was outstanding and responds to any inquiries in a timely manner. I would definitely stay there again!
